Amazing, quiet, beautiful accomodation right on the beach. Staff was very nice and food delicious.

Great food at a reasonable price given the location. Definitely eating there again while we are holidaying at a resort nearby.

We had an amazing stay at Hapla Beach Cottage, the room was sparkling clean with view on the beach. Staff was friendly, helpful and personal and cook some amazing food. The beach is clean and quiet.

Beautiful place,on a small,remote island,no mass tourism. Delicious food! You sit in the sand,directly on the beach. A bit pricey, compared to others,but unique and tasty!

Absolutely loved it! If you are looking for an unique experience then this is the place for you! The drive to the place is breathtaking, but not as breathtaking as you arrive to destination. With trees pointing up from the sand and the cottages which look very native on the outside but actually doesn't lack anything regarding bath, toilet and others luxurious things you have on hotels.

The food is absolutely amazing! When you get there ask if the are cooking Massaman Curry, you won't believe how good it is! I highly recommend it!

The people who run the place is very friendly and good folks that take things slow and easy.

The place must be heaven on Earth!

Excellent getaway. 20 KM of beach all to yourself. Bungalows are basic, offering hot water, ceiling fan, outdoor seating area and mosquito screens on all windows and entrance door.

Food was delicious. All cooked fresh by the owners who are really friendly and helpful.

Do not come here if you like 5* resorts. This is for people who want to have a quiet time away from busy daily life. No internet, no tv, no people.

One if our favourite places to call home away from home. They have 11 cute cottages for both couples and families. The beach is white and the water super warm. Just perfect to spend a couple of days or an afternoon. The food is a bit pricey but SUPER delicious.

A hidden gem on the beach of Kho Koh Khao. Great food and drinks together with the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. The bungalows are super nice and modern on the inside but still true to the local esthetics on the outside. It's a truly amazing place.

Travelled around Thailand for several times and stayed at different beaches and islands - but this place is one of the most wonderfull ones we ever had to experience. Nice staff (family business), best price for the quality of the clean bungalows and location. There is almost nothing around this place. peaceful and quiet, hidden and lonely. The food is very good here (a little bit more expensive but its worth it). go there for 2-3 nights as long this island will be such a secret place.

It's the best beach restaurant within 2 miles of Sunset Beach Resort. Plus the variety of food and drinks is far more than you would expect from a beach bar. The quality of the food and its presentation is excellent.
Mind you the prices are not cheap, and perhaps a good bit more than many would want to pay at a beach bar

But this is a cut above and a very nice place to eat and drink. As a guide prices are 25 to 50% more than Mamas Kitchen or the Sunset Beach Resort restaurant; though bear in mind that the quality and variety makes this premium well worth paying. A king prawn Pad Thai was 250 bht, a Crab meat fried rice was 175 bht. A Lemon (Lime) juice was 95 bht.

We did a 6 week trip over Thailand and this was our best Place. The owners Sai and Nong are very friendly and the staff also. We stayed in a clean and nice bungalow with own bathroom and terrace.The bungalows are in a shadowed garden very close to the beach. The restaurant has realy good food, also for vegetarians like us. The beach is very clean and lonley. You either can lay on a beachbed or walk along the beach and meet ... .nobody or have a thai massage! Good place to relax and watch sunset. Bring cash no credit card accepted. We will come back!

Our first time in Koh Ko Khao, it was unreal world. There are many positives vibes, happy people, clean air and the best place to escape a busy cities.
Our friends invited us to stay at beautiful bangalows at Hapla Beach.
It was a fantastic three night there. We were very happy with the island and the whole trip. The pictures say it all.

Super nice quiet beach. Also you can leave all your staff around and go for a swim without having to worry about it. There is only one restaurant there so you will not get a 100 choice but food is decent.

Excellent food and great cocktails right on the beach. No better place to watch the sunset. Just ask for what good and fresh in the day and you will not be disappointed.

Wow. Little paradise directly on the beach. Very clean bungalows and super friendly staff. U can also rent a motorbike. Sai the manager organised even a private boat trip for me to the next island. Loved every minute there.

We've been in the morning at the beach and had lunch there. Very beautiful place with some cottages in the wood directly at the beach. It was like we where the only people at the beach. Nice personnel and good food. Will go there again.

Best place! Far away from tourist crowded places. just a few cabins, good food in the small nice beach restaurants, helpful friendly stuff. good place to relax, read books, doing nothing ... maybe thinking or not.
