Perfect! The rangers don’t speak English very well but they do all they can to let u see the eliphants and they are very decent people. It was a great experience.

We had a great time. Saw a family of six elephants up close and one from a distance. Just amazing!

Great place to visit.
This is how wildlife watching should be done.
The animals are roaming around freely, no feeding to lure them to visitors, no touching, no washing, and great local guides.
I am glad I could have this experience.

My recommendation is to go around 4 PM as the animals are hot before and might stay hidden.

Very high chance to see elephants. Staff here super polite and it's amazing you get to see elephants in the wild. Something quite rare. About 350 wild elephants in this park. Need to have a ranger escort you through the park, totally worth it. Really had a spectacular time here. Recommended 2-4pm to see the elephants as they are more active.

If you like to see wild elephants, then this is the best place in Asia. We came here 5 times and spotted them every single time. Safari truck with guide costs only 800 baht, but you will have to buy the NP tickets seperately. We paid 1100 baht in total for 4 people. A total bargain.

Nice Park. We can try to find animals such wild elephants or wild cow. We saw a lot of birds and turtles. Rangers and drivers are nice and very helpful.

Kuiburi is home to 235 elephants (2017) and one of the few places you can see them in such an wild and natural setting. This is one of Thailand’s very special parks! We stayed overnight at the Ranger station and had an incredible experience. It’s quite rustic, and not for everyone. In the night we heard the jackals and barking deer. In the morning we accompanied the rangers on a 10 km hike early in the morning and saw elephants, and the tracks of porcupine, jackals, sambar and barking deer. We also saw hornbills, laughing birds, Indian rollers and a host of other birds.

This experience was so good. We saw elephants and bison. You must go late in the day to see the animals.

We went on the tour and saw a herd of elephants. They were very far but it was great to see them roaming around!

Excellent wildlife watching with the best chance of seeing wild elephants in Thailand. Truck was 800 baht plus 200 baht per person and can accommodate up to 9. Tours only run in the afternoon. Some locations that Google gives are in the wrong spot so watch for the English signs pointing towards wildlife watching.

Good place to watch a variety of wildlife including wild bulls, elephants and birds. Just about 1.5hrs drive south of Hua Hin so an excellent half-day trip destination from the resort.

It’s promoted as the best place in Thailand to see groups of elephants in their natural habitats and having visited a number of locations throughout the country, I’d say that would be an accurate assessment. According to the park guides, there are approximately 250 – 300 wild elephants in the vicinity of the national park. It’s well worth making the effort to go here but there’s a couple of things to be aware of as this is not such an easy place to find due to confusion created by having two locations advertised as “wildlife viewing.” If you go on an arranged outing with a tour company then that isn’t an issue but if you are doing it yourself all you need to remember is to take the turn to the right off route # 3217. That will be the first sign you see, take it. If you continue on to the other location, at the southern side of the dam, you will end up wasting at least an hour or more of your time. This location is the site of the national park headquarters and even though you will see signage saying “wildlife viewing,” IT IS NOT THE CORRECT LOCATION. The staffs there are very friendly. They speak some English and they will give you a poorly drawn map directing you back to the correct location. This map is hopelessly inaccurate in terms of distances and road directions and you will end up driving around in circles on dirt roads on the western side of the dam. I was fortunate that I can speak some Thai so I eventually managed to get on the correct road to the correct “wildlife viewing” place. Once there a guide will approach you telling you the costs etc. The price per person for the tour is 850 THB. If you are coming independently in a vehicle you will be charged an additional 200 THB to park your vehicle in the parking area. The tour through the wildlife viewing area is done safari style from the back of a pick-up truck with bench seats. There are three wildlife viewing areas along a 7 km dirt road. The guides are very helpful as there are some positioned at each location and they keep in touch with 2 way radios so they know exactly at each moment if there are elephants in the areas. Please note, the wildlife viewing tours are only done between 2 pm – 6 pm, so if you arrive in the morning you’ll have a long wait. According to the guides, 4 pm – 6 pm is the best times as the heat is least intense and the elephants will come out of the forest. Very well maintained park. While we only got to see one elephant during our safari, we appreciated the beautiful countryside and friendly guides. We booked our excursion through Dolphin Bay Resort where we were staying, which provided transportation to and from the park.

As with any safari, it's up to the animals if they are out and about, as was the case on our trip but it was as noted, tempered by the amazing views and great staff.

Fantastic day, Though there is a lot of work being done to improve the water supply for the animals it was still beautiful. Saw several herds of elephant and two of red bull. Also some beautiful birds.

It’s not like a zoo. The elephants roam freely and a limited amount of people are allowed , only during certain hours and even then, they don’t go near them. If you are unlucky you don’t hear or see them, but I think it’s not so hard to be lucky ! Worthwhile !

We had a great tour here. There are a lot of Elephants in this park so you'll 99% guaranteed to see one or more. The park itself is beautiful and almost has some kind of Jurassic Park vibe to it. You can't go in by yourself. You'll need to hire a truck and a guide at the visitor's center. They will drive you to the best spots to find the wild elephants that live here.
