Rain Forest Resort

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I stayed at. Your right on the river. The whole place is a jungle. The entrance so beautiful has dining the apartments are separate like little houses back to back very private. This is a serious honey moon place. I was only staying one night when I saw it I fell in love.

The resort is on route 12, next to the road. They have parking space at front. Staff is very polite and welcoming. The room is nice and clean and very quiet.

I recommend the terrace at the back next to the river. Very very good place to eat lunch there. Ask the staff for additional charges. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent. This place has lots of tree thus lots of mosquito in the evening. But the room is sealed properly so I had no mosquito issue once I get back to my room.

Lovely and convenient resort beside the highway, surrounded by nature and river.

Owner speaks good English, friendly and helpful.

On-site restaurant provides decent food and breakfast is provided as well.

Room is basic, with hot shower and complimentary bottles of water.

Resident cat is very friendly and follows you everywhere 😀

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. They have done a lot of work here over the years to make it a super comfortable place in a rain forest setting. I would highly recommended checking this place out.

Very nice eco-friendly resort. Only 300 m. to the Gaeng-song waterfall, which is so nice for swimming and relaxing. We went there when it hasn't been raining for some time already, so the water was safe to play and clear, not so muddy brown like in other seasons.
Back to the resort, foods were delicious, the staff were nice, cleanliness of the room was met.

Beautiful resort! 800 baht for a room with twin beds. This place feels like it's in the middle of the jungle! There's plenty to explore including a river at the far end. Plus a great restaurant with plenty of interesting food on the menu. I highly recommend this place!

The resort is nice in the rainforest but outdated. Close to the road but not noisy. So 3 stars. We visited their organic farm where they grow the veggies, chickens, ducks. Finally the food: outstanding > 6 stars.

Rain Forest Retreat is simply wonderful!
The construction within and around the trees and the forest is intimate and calming, and the facilities, staff and food are amazing, charming, and delicious.

Located right on the river 200m from the waterfall there are a number of awesome activities at different times of the year including white water rafting and kayaking.

Mr. Lek is an inspirating leader in his community and has a truly wonderful story about ecotourism, volunteering and sustainable business!

A must stay location if you're in the area.

good view and beautiful garden. We bring 2 big dogs they enjoy here. And nice breakfast . Recommend

Nice cozy resort by the river.

Compared to a cheap hotel in the middle of phits. this feels looks and smells like a spa. With the A/C going i forgot i was in Thailand and back at home in the mountains. If you come here tell the very nice English speaking lady Mr. Mckinstry says hello! :-)

Enjoyed my stay at this beautiful resort located in the rainforest near a national park in Phitsanulok during my motorbike tour of Thailand. Highly recommend! Now you can also make a booking on Airbnb.

Unbelievable!! Great food and spotless place I don't know how they can manage this in the jungle. You had to come to see it your own.
The lady in the hotel speaks very good English.

The locals are so friendly, and there's an old lady who works there who speaks amazing English and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. Great place to relax and explore!

No tree was cut in making this resort. Very quiet place.

Been here since 1993 and still great place to come back.
