Awesome place to visit with 6-6.15am boat ride which able have chance to view sunrise, comfortable weather, around 1-1.5hrs duration. Highly recommend with 6person per boat cost around THB600. For this tour mainly on lotus, bird and buffalo. But buffalo Main only come out to water around 8-9am.

This trip blows me away, not your typical Thailand tour. The 5:30 am boat ride in total darkness to be light up by sunrise, it is an incredible feeling.

We passed thru unique fishing traps, lotus ponds, grazing water buffalos, flooded forest, although it was a 3 hours trip but I enjoy every minutes of it.

You must visit this before the hordes of tourists takes over.

Lovely experience and views! Recommend to go there to catch the sunrise and enjoy the quiet ambience at the lake.

A boat can sit a max of 6 people. 900 thb for 2 hours. The boatman will bring you to the various attractions spots at the lake.

Saw the buffaloes walking through the water, the birds flying, the water lilies blooming.

The waves was quite strong, so we didn't go to the fisherman village.

If you're staying in Phatthalung town, you can get a tuk tuk from the train station. The journey takes you 30 to 40 mins. Sharing my tuk tuk driver contact if anyone of you needs it.

It been said that the average depth may reach around 1.5 meters. This expansive aquatic expanse beckons you to explore its tranquil beauty.

- **Growth Time:** The journey from a tiny seed nestled in the mud to a mature lotus ready for commercial use takes about three to four months.

- **Multiplication:** Lotuses multiply through a fascinating process. As the flower blooms, it sheds its seeds into the water. Over time, these seeds settle in the mud and give rise to new plants. Additionally, lotus plants can also be propagated by dividing mature rhizomes, which are underground stems.

- **Emergence:** From a single lotus flower, multiple new flowers can emerge. A single flower can give rise to multiple seed pods, each containing several seeds. This remarkable ability to generate new life from one source is a testament to the lotus's resilience and vitality.

Throughout our voyage, I'm here to share stories, answer questions, and help you connect with the enchanting wonders of Thale Noi Lake. Embrace the serenity, capture the beauty, and immerse yourself in the natural and cultural treasures that make this destination truly extraordinary.

550 baht for 1hr15mins boat ride. Best go in the early morning around 5.30 if you want to see the sunrise. In the morning, you get to see the lotus flower, the birds, the changing sky. Plus the air is cool in the morning.

Vast lake surrounded by beautiful scenery. Animal and plant life. This marsh has been left untouched and is well worth a visit and some exploration.

Visiting this place was the best decision I made when I decided to visit Phatthalung. I was afraid that it’d get crowded but when I came, many people came but not that touristy. So, I loved it. 80 minutes boat riding was very good because the boat driver was kind enough to make our tour enjoyable, he gave us a bamboo hat because we forgot to bring ours. The trip became 100 minutes but he set the same price. So, we just decided to add a little tip for him. By the end of the trip, there’s a photo printed for those who ride the boat and if you want it, just pay 100 baht then you get it with a frame already. Overall, we loved the experience here. If you want to try, make sure to bring your hat and make sure that your hat stays intact with you as the wind could be strong along the tour.

We visited Thale Noi again and took a boat ride at 6.00am to catch the sunrise and explore the natural beauty around the lake. We noticed the conventional fishing method which involves using long bamboo poles with a net attached. The fisherman stands at the front of the boat and uses the pole to slowly move through the water, with the net trailing behind. When a fish is spotted, the net is quickly lifted up to capture it.
We also saw water buffaloes but the highlight was the sea of blooming water lilies that carpeted the lake as the boat glided through.

For someone whom loves nature, this is one for the bucket list. Awesome boat ride experience through the wetlands through Lily pads surrounded with numerous bird species and gracing buffalo. Boat ride cost around 550 baht and takes approximately 1 hour. Should be there early before 8am as the Lily flower only blooms for a short duration.

A very scenic place, enjoy nature's beautiful gifts to us. You will be able to spot birds, I could recognise cattle egrets, brahminy kites, lesser adjutant, storks, ducks, finfoot, purple heron, purple waterhen, There are many more. Also insects and reptiles plus others. But we were focussing on the birds. Best to visit in the morning, but afternoon is fine too. Get ready sunscreen, shades, hats, binoculars and camera if you wish to capture some amazing shots. We took a one hour boat ride, which was very enjoyable.

Visited during the off-peak period, there were no other visitors at the park. There is an option of taking an open speed boat out to the lake. Fees at the time of posting is 550 baht for 2 person. The journey across and back on the lake was about 1 hour plus. There are lots of fauna and fauna species on the lake and had the chance to see up close the water buffalos feeding.

A remarkable place I will never forget. Very beautiful scenery. You will see lot of birds and Buffaloes in this huge approximately 6,900 acre lake. A place you need to visit once in a lifetime when you are in Pattalung province. Very good experience. Better visit in the early morning in order to see the sunrise, red lotus, and local life.

Our group of 25 wanderlusts came to Thale Noi at the wrong season: the water lilies and birds were rare sights, but to be able to breathe the vast expanse of pollution-free air did a ton of good to our lungs. This is the real Amazing Thailand that the tourists should seek for. The two hours I spent cruising the peaceful lake significantly extended my life span. I shall be back!

Nice tour around the lake, lots of birds to see, water buffalo and the boat is floating through the cake covered in "cabbage" - some floating water plants that are so thick that the boat got stuck in it couple of times. The boat trip takes about 1 hour and costs 550 bath for a trip for two passengers. You can also take a walk around the area on walkways for 30 Bath/person. No mosquitos in November and I believe we were the only tourists there. BTW on the outside there are some "private" boats that offer trips for much less (I believe the guy was shouting 160 bath), but we didn't trust them.

Absolutely beautiful experience. We did the one hour tour for 550 Baht and it actually took nearly 1.5 hours.
Our boat guide took us through the lotus field and we also saw many birds and water buffalos. It was like a safari. We loved it!
