This is one of the best hikes we’ve done in our couple months of travelling! The trail was well marked and although the wooden steps would be better maintained, the entire trail is a lot of fun and you’re really immersed in nature the whole way.

Bring plenty of water as you’ll be sweating the whole way and there’s no place to get any water along the way. We saw some people hiking in flip flops but I’d recommend some trail shoes or trainers if you have them. Highly recommend this trail and the views were spectacular at the top. Plenty of places to relax and admire the views.

I loved every minute of this tough hike. It’s almost entirely vertical save for a few flatter / downhill parts, but it’s fun, it’s beautiful terrain, it’s beautiful jungle, and breathtaking views at the top and on the way. I went at 8 AM when the National park opens and so the trail was pretty empty then.

I tend to move fast so I was up within an hour, but it definitely gets your heart racing. When you get to the top, take as much time as you want to take in the views, and appreciate where you are.

Please wear sensible clothes and shoes and take plenty of water. it’s hot, humid, and muddy, so plan for these factors.

Worth every painstaking step to reach the views on top.

Short and sweet. Not very challenging but definitely worth it. Amazing viewpoint at the top.
Hike is around 4k each way. Possible detours to a waterfall - worth it!
Wear proper shoes and get plenty of water.

Fantastic hike with a beautiful view as reward. The total hike took us about 5 hours (up and down) and we took our time to enjoy the views. No guide is needed. We made the walk in the dry seasons and did not need special shoes to make the hike (we made it on our sandals).

Very beautiful and interesting hiking trail with absolutely insanely beautiful nature.

The view point is stunning and incredibly beautiful 😍

It's absolutely worth going there for sure!

Take enough water with you and trail runners or hiking boots!

The entry fee is 200 per person for foreigners and scooter parking is free.

A little bit of a shame that the trail isn't really well maintained even though we pay the entry for it....

But still absolutely worth it

What a great workout and beautiful views! Just what the doctor ordered! It is a varied trail knotted with clay, tree roots, rocks, and stairs to get to the top for a panaramic view of jungle, karsts, and sea!

Along the way, you'll hear amazing jungle life, including gibbons, cicadas, and birds!

The walk up is mostly shaded, luckily!!!
Make sure you bring LOTS of water! We shared 3 liters between 2 people. You will sweat, maybe swear🤬 But very worth the effort!👌💪

Nice jungle hike. Came to Krabi for snorkel / sea activities but it was jelly fish season. Did further research and found this trail.

Was an awesome jungle trail with a breathtaking view on top!

It was medium difficulty in my opinion. I am quite active (4-5 activities a week, mostly run) and can manage quite well.

Recommended to pack some food and drink but don’t leave trash!

Fairy difficult hike up to the summit of dragons crest the retun trip was nearly 6 miles with 550 meters of incline. Will take a good 4 hours all in. Bring trainers or hiking shoes not sandals and the way up is very seep and uneven. You will be pretty much climbing in some places. The view from the top is completely worth it though. Entry fee is 200thb for foreigners.

The way up is a little hard. Some areas you need to do a little climbing through some rocks but nothing crazy. It’s totally worth it at the top the views are unbelievable. Make sure you have trainers 👟 or shoes with good support.

Challenging but easier if you start early in the morning. The wind is amazing and will bless you, the view is worth it.
Bring water.
My wife and I brought around 3.5 Liter and drank it all. :)
1h 50 min climb up.
The down way is more pleasant as always. Just mind your steps.

Challenging hike with steep sections, hazards in the form of tree roots, slippery/missing wooden steps, slippery rocks, but the views are worth the 1.5-2 hr climb and most of the trail is well shaded. If you’re lucky you may see snakes, and plenty of colorful lizards and butterflies.

It was quite humid and warm and the trail was not that easy. So it was pretty tiring and a lot of sweating. But it was so much fun and the views at the top were amazing. Definitely recommended and I would do it all over again if I am ever in the vicinity again.

The hike is heavy due to the heat and humidity, but is all worth it when you reach the top! The entrance for non-thai is 200 THB per person. Wear closed shoes with a GOOD grip. For us the way up took 1h50 and down 1h25. Come early before all the tours arrive, so you can enjoy the silence, we started at 9 and were alone on the top.

Awesome hike, the trail is clear and easy to follow. I'd recommend coming only with closed hiking shoes since there's lots of climbing - both stairs (that are sometimes broken) but also just general climbing along the way. Make sure you have at least 3 liters of water while starting the hike. It's a ~2h climb, and approx 1.5h down. And the view is worth it 👌

As It takes approximately 4hrs up and down, it's highly recommended to hike this hill.
No trash at all!!! So, I did it with barefoot, my friend with a pair of flip flops.
I also recommend you to bring at least 1L bottle of water. There is no water supply point.
Trees are tall and most of paths are shady and soft sand (little bit with stairs)
It must be beautiful experience and memory!!

A beautiful hike!! Took us a bit under two hours to get up and a bit over an hour to get down. It’s definitely a challenging climb, especially in the first half but mellows out a bit in the second half (still a climb though). The views from the top are absolutely gorgeous.

Good hike, challenging enough. Went up in 1.5 hour and back in 50min or so. Although, my favourit viewpoint was the one in the middle of the hike, where you can see lots of beautiful small islands. Also, after climbing back, soaking your feet in a cold stream nearby is very much recommended!

Quite tough hike especially in the the dry season when it's very warm but the views from the top are worth it. Take comfortable shoes, the trail can be very slippery at times

Hard but impressive hike in jungle, rewarded with stunning views. Track is well kept by the park rangers. Went by ourselves to arrive early (8:00) with taxi from hotel and pickup (there’s a few tuktuk’s waiting by the snack bar at the front gate but the trail is far from Ao Nang so recommend decent vehicle).
