The Longtail Boat Italian ~ Thai Restaurant Ao Nang, Krabi

Most amazing food! 6 times visiting Thailand and can honestly say the food here is as good as anywhere we have been, amazing service and delicious drinks… well done everyone!

The best seafood I had in Thailand. The Thai-style oysters were unbelievable. The platter for 2 was incredible. Everything fresh and delicious. Service was perfection. I broke my foot and hobbling on crutches the rest of my trip in Thailand. Everyone working there, servers, chef and owner attentive and made me comfortable. Even helping me on the way out get the hang of the crutches! Very much appreciated the effort that went into making a night out in my condition a lovely experience.

Went to Ao Nang one evening whilst staying at Dusit Thani hotel. Ao Nang was a lot different compared to the tranquillity of the hotel but found this gem of a restaurant after a recommendation. Located about a 15 minute walk from the Marlin statue on the front - walk out of the resort with the sea on your left.
The restaurant furnishings were exquisite, completely different to anywhere else we ate during our holiday. The table service from Blu was great and the selection of food and drinks - whilst not pages and pages - was enough for us all to have to make decisions on our choices. All of the food - starters and main course - was beautifully cooked, plentiful and well presented. Including several rounds of drinks, the final cost was less than 1000TB per head.
Would definitely recommend to those who enjoy a relaxing evening meal in a lovely restaurant.

A fantastic resteraunt. We went here for dinner after our wedding. I reserved the table the day before. When we arrived the staff had set a lovely table up for us decorated beautifully and some processco to celebrate for free. The staff were so attentive and very friendly. The food was great, I ordered the seafood linguine, it was exceptional, so tasty and a great portion. I 100% would recommend to go here, such a lovely little resteraunt in Ao Nang. Well decorated and on the smaller side, feels more personal and relaxed. Great place.

Absolutely the best restaurant in krabi and Aonang, service perfect and professional, food very high quality, can't recommend enught..
If you are In krabi or Aonang no lose opportunity to enjoy a nice dinner hear.
I highly suggested seafood suop and pasta seafood..

A wonderful evening at The Longtail Boat with fantastic service and delicious food. Blue and Noi served us and were so friendly and attentive. We had the Papaya Salad to start between two and then the Seafood Platter for our main. The Seafood Platter consisted of two scallops, 3 muscles, a whole white snapper, four king prawns and a lobster. All BBQd perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning and garlic. The green chilli sauce complimented the snapper superbly. The platter came with two side salads which included beautifully fresh leaves, olives, cucumber, onion and tomato. The best restaurant we ate at in Ao Nang. We would definitely recommend anyone to visit. The menu also had a wide selection of Italian food including pasta and pizza. Thank you to The Longtail Boat for a lovely evening!

Worth the trip up and worth every dollar. Not the cheapest in Krabi but I tell you its worth every dollar if you are willing to spend.

Singaporeans listen up. This is the best restaurant in Krabi / Ao Nang! The food is really good and the boss and lady boss cooked really well. The waitresses are friendly and the food is great!

There are many dishes that you can request off the menu, if they have the time, they will accommodate and make the dish for you. Really grateful for them tending to all our whims for food that are not in the menu. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I asked for Parmesan for my seafood linguini and the Italian owner came up and very politely recommended I have the Pecorino cheese instead, to which I very humbly accepted his advice haha. Was an amazing dinner.

Awesome (and quiet) spot to watch the sun set next to Ao Nang beach away for the maddening crowds. We only for cocktails and I'd highly recommend the Pina Colada which on the day was excellent and the staff are very attentive and nice. Each cocktail is 120 Bhat and is well worth trying. Get there by 5:40pm to grab a nice table to watch the sun set

Fresh seafood, nice food from Thai or Italian/Western menu. Friendly staff. Especially impress by one of the waiter who took the effort to update us on the price of the seafood before putting it through to the kitchen. The place is popular with tourists, the prices are also a tad higher than street price.

Welcoming and friendly, beautifully presented food with excellent service. A tad more expensive on alcohol than the strip restaurants but worth the extra for the ambiance.

A magic restaurant you don't expect. We came for dinner twice because the first time they totally won us over. We ate in many places, even luxury ones, but the way you eat here you don't eat anywhere. The cuisine is amazing, both true Thai cuisine and true Italian cuisine. The bruschetta, the fish, the meat, the desserts, you won't regret it because they are attentive to detail and everything is extremely delicious, like the staff and the owners. The service is excellent, the waiters are attentive to everything and Paolo the owner is a fantastic person, like his wife. One day we will come back here, we felt at home.

Spectacular place to get a drink while watching the sunset sitting on the beach on their lounge cushions below the main restaurant. The drinks are pricey and they charge a 10% service fee. If you don’t mind paying a bit more it is worth while spot to watch the sunset.

Good serving. Food is bit expensive but its really good taste. However you can get almost as good as here food for less or half price elsewhere. Desert where delicious as well, we were happy. If money is not problem for you, you should try.

Huge food and drink selection from menu. They have a portion of the upstairs air-conditioned. The non-air-conditioned part has great views. They recognized that service was a little slow on the night we were there, so they gave us free dessert.
