The Spa Koh Chang

From the moment I arrived here, I felt a professional, effective, and caring team who loved their job. If there were any problems, they fixed it quickly with a smile. The best massage and facial you can get in this country is here. All this building, furniture, sheets, and towels are environmentally friendly. All the staff treat you like they know you. The yoga sessions are with the top professional instructor. The restaurant has hired young staff from the village nearby to give them education and better opportunities. They really put an effort into making superdelicious food and cocktails and serve them so politely always with a smile. I'm going to miss this place.

I had an absolutely amazing experience in the resort. All of staffs was super friendly and helpful. The hotel location is super quiet and isolated if you love something quiet with salted swimming pool,gym,yoga,kayak,etc. The massage with P'Kae is the highlight, she has an amazing skill of Thai massage. I did Thai massage mix with facial lifing massage, I can feel while I had the session that she is totally different with others. I can't be thankful to all of my first time detox retreat experience. It was wonderful and enjoyable every moment I were there.

I loved the resort. The resort is located in the mangroves/jungles. If you want to have a few quiet, relaxing days, you've come to the right place. It is far away from any tourist hustle and bustle. The bungalows are very nicely furnished, and you have everything you need. Healthy food, juices, and smoothies are offered. The staff is also amicable and helpful. If you want to do something, rent a scooter or travel with your car.

If you are looking for a few days to unwind, relax and recharge then you must stay at The Spa Koh Chang. I stayed for 4 nights and did a 3.5 days fast. The staff were attentive and caring and really checked in with me during my stay. I upgraded my room and they gave me a discount too. The care I received during the fast was incredible - the juices, massages, steams and colon cleanse were exceptional. It was a truly incredible experience and I will come back every year.

Beautiful grounds and rooms, with thoughtful design touches to every space. This is a rustic, "back to the earth" space that has you feeling grounded, connected, and peaceful when you leave. The staff are attentive and helpful, and give you tips on things to do in the area. The location is not central, but that can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. This was our favorite breakfast during our two week stay in Thailand.

This place is out of the way, but is extremely beautiful and relaxing! The staff are amazing, the grounds and pool are beautiful; delicious farm to table food; nice and comfortable rooms; free bikes and kayaks; daily free activities; and excellent yoga, wellness and massage services (all very reasonably priced.) Would definitely come back here for a relaxing getaway :)

We loved our stay at The Spa Koh Chang. The rooms are absolutely lovely, the staff is very nice and the food and drinks in the restaurant offer a great selection with lots of vegetarian and even vegan options.
The place is on the calmer side of Koh Chang and perfect to relax and unwind.
Some people found the prices of the massages too high but we disagree with that. We paid 800 THB for 60 min which is around 20 EUR so in our opinion and for the massage that was offered still very affordable.
We stayed there 6 days and would stay there again!

Beautiful rooms, great service and food. Definitely recommend if you want to relax and enjoy your stay with tropical, nature views. Extremally pleasant and helpful stuff :)

Nice saltwater pool, skilled personal/ staff, great massage team. And unique surroundings in the name of ecology, with a Beautiful herb garden all in natural environment.

It's a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The rooms are clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a swimming pool, lots of trees, plants (they have their own garden, they grove herbs and vegetables for guests. You can find here a mangrove forest with free kayak, also free bicycles to look around. Also, you can rent a scooter here (350 b 24 hrs) if you want to explore Ko Chang. There is a restaurant, the food is good, delicious coffee and other drinks/coctails.

Fresh cold pressed juice is very refreshing “Green detox drink” with their homegrown Watercress super food.

Resort is very calm. Perfect for Getaway holiday. Good staff clean room.

Great peaceful resort for some relaxation and meditation. Great wooden furnitures, good food. Beddings so comfy. Organic food and garden. Kayaking and pool can be improved. Bali feels and will come back. :) Thank you The Spa!

A Tranquil Retreat in the Heart of Nature

The Spa Koh Chang is a beautifully situated resort nestled in the midst of the jungle and close to mangrove forests. Initially, we stopped by just for a coffee but found ourselves instantly falling in love with the place. Although it shows signs of age, having been built in 2006 as the first sustainable facility on Ko Chang, it possesses a captivating charm.

The resort focuses on locally grown, organic food, offering a truly authentic experience. Its remote location means you'll likely need a scooter to get there, but it's well worth it for those looking to unwind, relax, and disconnect.

The accommodations are equally impressive. We had the opportunity to view one of the rooms, which are set up like individual bungalows, complete with air conditioning, a shower, and an outdoor bathtub. The fresh pressed detox juices and on-site massages add to the overall serene experience.

Overall, The Spa Koh Chang is a place where I can easily see myself spending two weeks to decompress and find peace. It's a true haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Most beautiful and wonderful hotel i’ve ever stayed in. Very clean. Room was stunning with a private bathtub and balcony equipped with hammock and two sun loungers.

Great facilities, pool, steam room, massages etc. Luxury of jayaking and borrowing bike for free. Lovely staff!

Location feels more secluded than other options which is fantastic. It’s giving quiet paradise.

Honestly only downside is some of the rude and obnoxious white lotus guests we encountered that were staying at the spa at the same time as us.

Would stay a million times more anyway. Menu is slay! Lots of ingredients are produce grown in the hotels own allotment. Hope to come back. Thanks The Spa Koh Chang for having us 🫶🐾

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is in a very quiet location and the reviews from 8 months ago have not been confirmed. Apparently it was recently renovated because everything seemed tidy and not outdated or broken.
It's the perfect place to calm down with yoga and get away from mass tourism.
