Had lunch and dinner here three times, and the food was consistently excellent, especially the fresh fish and seafood.

While the service wasn't the best initially with the owner not appearing welcoming on our first visit, her demeanor improved with subsequent visits.

We even engaged in several conversations where she shared insights about the island and recommended places to explore. Her husband offered us taxi trips and took us to the south of the island for a very low price.

Overall, I recommend this place for its outstanding food and the evolving friendly atmosphere.

They have everything on the menu, from western breakfast to local southern thai food which tastes soooo authentic, so spicy and also came with a basket of veg. and dipping that is to-die-for.

Traditional southern Thai food and traditions thai taste. The food is super delicious!!! For thai people who is visiting this restaurant do mention that you want local thai taste.

Best place for southern food & Phangan local food.
I’m Thai and live on Koh Phangan. I came to eat at Nong View many times. The food here is amazing with lots of flavour, especially Phangan local dishes. I cant choose what is my favorite dish because I like it all. Also the coconut dessert (coconut pudding pearl) was really good, you must try.
I suggest them todo another menu with Phangan local dishes so its easy for people to know and what to order.

First venue we've dined in Phangan, and it was delicious! We had morning glory, pork laarb salad (recommended by the waitstaff) and tom yum gai. Everything was very good and balanced flavours, especially the salad, plus the prices are okey. Wouldn't doubt to come back.

If you're in Koh Phangan this is a must visit place. One of the legendary restaurants on the island. Fresh quality food overseen by mama chef with long history. (Some negative reviews below are to be ignored as they come from cry babies, thai is spicy in general ffs. I had quite the opposite exp. They even recommended not to take some dishes as they can make me bad, e.g. thai mushrooms, plus they all waved and smiled in the end.)
