Island View Hotel

I stayed here for one night because it’s close to the pier and a reasonable price. The man that works at reception is so kind, friendly, and helpful! He helped me get a taxi to the pier for only 100 baht, which is the cheapest and most comfortable ride I’ve gotten on the island (even considering the short distance) and it was an actual air conditioned car. The room was super clean with nice towels and the air conditioning was great and strong. I think the only improvement would be if there were a mosquito net around the bed.

A great family run hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and big. The pool is great and had a great mix of sunshine and shade. Will visit again next year. For best rates, call in in person. They will look after you.

The location of the hotel is a big plus. A 10 minute walk from the pier and 5 minute walk to the phangan food court. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The service was quick and the staff was helpful and courteous. They arranged for our ferry and van tickets to Aonang very quickly. There is no restaurant inside the hotel but the food court nearby has multiple outlets and serves great food.

Nice well maintained resort with reasonable price around 1500 B per night (In April peak season 1 week before full moon). Good location in Center of the island and very Friendly staff.

You should rent motorbike to tour around the island and as the hotel is located at the center of the island touring it from there is much more convenient.
They offer motorbike rentals for 250 B per day and drop off to Thongsala pier for 100 B per person

Cute little hotel with a nice and clean pool close to the city center and in walking distance to the pier.

Downside: The blankets are woolen(?) blankets fitted between two bed sheets without any seams. Feels kinda off, when they could prabably get those bed sheets sewn together for a couple of bucks to get something much closer to a duvet cover. I just removed the woolen blanket and had a good nights sleep with just the two bed sheets as a cover. No direct beach access.

Upside: Clean and big room with everything you need, friendly staff, no trouble checking in or out, surprisingly silent for being close to the street; a 7-11, a b2b food market that is open to the public and a thai food court with lots of different stalls all in walking distance. Also close to the pier so perfect for a nights stay before hopping on to another island.

Nice stay. They changed dates of my booking even if I booked through internet.

Great location if you are planning to go to full moon or just enjoy the city.
It has some good restaurants nearby, particularly no name was amazing. (Yes the name of the restaurant is “no name” lol) it’s right across the road. Accessible to 7/11.

Clean, spacious, central location, comfortable. But best of all is their incredible customer service. They made a big effort to get back an item that we lost on the other side of the island - involving lots of calls and a drive to pick it up. Amazing and way beyond our expectations.

What a great find, the room was big and comfortable, clean and lots of room for storage. The shower had good pressure and there was always hot water as it's heated electronically (make sure you turn it on).

Rooms can be made up everyday and towels changed but you're given a wooden 'Do not Disturb' sign to hang outside your room if you wish. Great if you want to lie in and have a lazy day without being disturbed by the maid. A nice touch and when used I it, I found toilet roll and water was left outside my room.

Both the A/C and WiFi worked well and it's simple to get to from the pier and there are lots of restaurants nearby plus an ATM, 7/11 store and it's easily walkable to the food court and the main town.

I paid 850 baht a night for a pool facing room on the ground floor in August 2019, credit cards accepted. I feel this room was the best location in the hotel and I believe it can be found cheaper occasionally through Agoda.

The pool was very well kept and great for swimming laps. It's definitely not child friendly though as it's about 1.5m or 5ft at it's shallowest, in fact as it's close to the main road and there is nowhere for kids to let of steam, therefore I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families.

You don't hear the road noise in the night with the doors closed and because it's a small property with all the rooms around the central pool, it's certainly not somewhere suited to party or to make noise in the evening.

You can rent a 125cc (Honda Click) for 250 bhat a day which gets delivered and collected from the hotel. I opted for a bigger Honda PCX2 which was only 300 bhat, much cheaper than the local places for the same bike. They use TON Bike Rentals who are genuine and don't run any scams, checkout the Google reviews for this business. As they are very close to the pier I was also told I could have also dropped it back to their shop on my last day if I had wanted to save getting a taxi.

Very clean hotel. Our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! Motorbike rental is 250 per day (they will call Ton rental which is close to the pier so you can bring back the bike to them around 830 in the morning and go to the ferry directly)

Good location, comfy beds and surprisingly quiet given the location. There's a swimming pool and a nice garden that gives a natural noise isolation from the road

We stayed in a normal room for two nights and the villa for one night. Great rooms! Great price! I would stay away from the villa tho it had
cockroaches, spiders and terrible AC... and cost more!

Brilliant hotel. Very nice rooms and with a pool to cool down. Staff very friendly and helped us out and made us welcome.
