Samutra Residences

We have spent nearly 2 months in Thailand travelling around and this hotel/resort is our favourite so far. Our room is large with an extremely comfortable bed - great air conditioning - a huge TV and good WiFi. It also had a separate kitchen and bathroom - the best feature is the private plunge pool ! In addition to this there is a beachfront pool that is shared. There are larger 2 and 3 bedroom villas all with their own pools as well as our 1 bedroom villa. A great place to stay with kind and friendly staff - a lovely family feel to the resort.

We had a room with a private pool, and it was AMAZING ! It was super close to the sea, with a nice private pool and garden. The service was great, all of them very polite and friendly, and very helpful when we got a big spider in our room !! 😂😂

Location is so quiet
But not too far from any good cafe or restaurant nearby.

Loved will stay again. They don't supply tea or coffee so be prepared to bring your own. 7/11 short walk away. Can rent scooter from the owner's.

We simply LOVE this place! Location is good, staff are nice and helpful, the room is amazing, WIFI is super fast! I think we stayed at this resort for almost 10 days ❤

The only downside is that you couldn’t really swim in the beach and the restaurant is not open. Which was not a problem because we always go out anyways..we plan to come back in December. Thank you!

We have an amazing villa with our own pool. House was big and we slept here like baby's. Water of shower was not that hot, could be improved. Loved every minute here. Stayed 2 nights.

amazing resort! super beautiful place, full of nature, by the sea, pet friendly, what else can you ask for? the rooms are big and nice with a massive TV and the most comfortable bed ever! the staff is super friendly too!

My husband and I stayed for a week in late October and loved it! It was very peaceful, quiet and right on the beach - exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in the ocean view suite and it was new and clean. I liked that the decor was simple but practical. There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk that are great for local thai food. Lee manages the property and very helpful and kind!

Fantastic place! Highly recommend in KPG - WiFi is fast, my bungalow was very modern and an excellent sea and pool view. Stayed there a few months.

Just a couple steps away from a white sand beach with access to many other bars/restaurants/water sports.

Overall a great community experience, and Lay always took care of everyone like family.

exceptional hotel, clean, beautiful private pools and top staff. The manager and his wife are the best people I have met. No matter what problem you are having. They will be there to help you.

Big room, high standard, well equipped (fridge, AC, TV with Netflix, knives, plates, bowls, glasses, safety deposit box). Beautifull sea view, well maintained and stylish surrounding, nice balcony with pool access. Infinity pool on the edge of the beache shared only for 4 rooms! Very good communication with owner. In general very nice and comfortable stay, but... There are few things that owners should keep an eye on:
- even though its brand new place there are some things not finished or not done properly. Wires to the outdoor lamp sticking from the wall, towel hanger collapsed from the wall durinh our stay, cracks on the walls
- hard to get there, it's hidden with only sandy, bumpy road. Maybe cheap transfer from the pier would help?

The rooms are super clean and specious. The manager and staff are very accommodating. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

The rooms with private pools are nice. Main pool is great too. No bar. After turning out of the main road you have take first left then straight.

Nice rooms in a decent area near Thong Sala. Beaches nearby are not too pleasant, so make this a home base as you visit other parts of the island. Haad Rin Beach is 15 minutes away by motor bike.

Great hotel with great staff! We really enjoyed it and felt very welcomed. Laundry service was quick and really good!

Newly built, quiet beach and 1 clean pool for only 4 apartments, TV with Netflix. A dream come true. Close to massage, food and so on. No nightlife in the immediate surroundings.
