Well organised, well managed and well maintained resort. Lovely bungalows, very beautiful garden, awesome massages, very good restaurant with awesome bbq nights. Not too much you could ask more. Our favorite stay on the island by far. Highly recommendable for families with kids as you will see plenty of them here.

Loved this place! Was very sad to leave. The bungalows are cute, the garden around them is super well maintained and there’s easy access to the beach. The restaurant served great food and part of their terrace was on the beach itself. The staff was super friendly, and they had very nice massages at the local spa ☺

We stayed at Longtail with our 2 y old for 5 nights. Everything has been just perfect. The room is simple but very comfortable and equipped with everything needed. The food was outstanding, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is wonderful, definitely the best on that beach and among the most beautiful ones in the island

It is a beautiful hotel and they got a good breakfast as well. I'll recommend it to those who want to relax and enjoy the vacation as the beach is so beautiful as well. Reception people are very helpful.

Its a hidden gem at the end of tong nay pan yai bay. Longtail offers you great food, beautifully designed bungalow huts and the best massages we had during our Thailand trip (recommendatiom for the thai herbal hot compresses). Even though there are various food optiona nearby, we decided to eat most of the time at the ressort as they also have special dishes from southern thai cuisine which you do not find elsewhere. As the ressort is very family friendly, a special big up to the lovely personnel, who still have a smile at the end of their 12 hour shifts. Thank you so much.

Popped in for lunch after seeing it busy on a previous walk. The food was delicious and so was the coffee and passion fruit, mango shake. Lovely location. The hotel looked good also and someone clearly is a very good Gardner.
Lots of other tasty looking dishes on the menu so will be back again I’m sure.

A little slice of paradise. Very family friendly, has a playground on the beach for kids and a very Boho vibe. Amazing breakfast.

We ate at the restaurant a couple of days in a row. Wonderful restaurant, and clearly the best one at the beach. Great food and lovely staff!

We spent the day at the restaurant and swimming pool and it was lovely. No idea how the rooms look but the food was great and the staff too.

We had a fantastic time! Our 2.5 year old girl absolutely loved it here. It is family friendly and the staff were friendly, helpful and just a good bunch of people. The rooms were simple and rustic, which is great! Air-conditioning works well as well. Great food, good cocktails, nice view, lovely beach with perfect sea level for toddlers. Nothing to complain but just lots of love for this resort!!

Nice beach, great resort, clean and with excellent food. Several families staying but the kids were not a problem. The bungalows are well spaced out with own balcony and hammock. A great place to chill.

Update January 2024: we arrived to find the beach covered with masses of plastic trash washed up following some strong winds/storms. It was most upsetting and a sign of how much stuff there is floating in the ocean. However, local hotel staff worked hard to clear it and within a few days the beach was restored to its former beauty. The downside was that the rubbish collected was then burned a short distance back from the beach (no doubt releasing toxic gasses).

We stayed for 6 days and we had a great time with the kids. Very friendly crew, the best Thai Massage we had on Koh Phangan. The restaurant is great, nice and tasty food and good cocktails. But the best thing is the beach with its swings and the white soft sand. The nicest beach of Koh Phangan.
And this beach hosts a dive school H2O divers which turns out to be the best diving experience ever. So just go there and enjoy.

Amazing location, hidden spot! Best hotel we’ve had in Thailand, they go the extra mile regarding comfort and attention to details. The restaurant of the hotel is absolutely amazing, and quite fair price-wise. They arranged taxis and bike location when needed.

We rented the BB house and had full access to the resort. Longtail Resort is paradise. Gorgeous scenery with laid back vibes. The resort is at the end of Thong Nai Pan Yai beach, and essentially marks the end of development on this part of the island, which is a big positive if that's what you're looking for. Everything was verdant and lush, like staying in the jungle just steps from the beach. The food was a delightful surprise--everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. As adults we stuck to the Thai offerings, which had good variety; our children had mostly Western food and they enjoyed. You could always order fresh juices and cocktails. The cocktails here were the first good cocktails we had in weeks of traveling SE Asia! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful--always with a positive attitude! This resort was swarming with families with small children from all over the globe, which sometimes resulted in cute vacation friendships. We rented a motorbike to zip over to Thong Nai Pan Noi. Don't forget to head up the hill for the nearby bar/restaurant with incredible views of the bay! We did that short but very steep hike with our 5 and 7 year old and even they thought the view was worth it. Clearly, I can't say enough positive things about Longtail Resort. We cherish our memories from this tropical paradise!

Me and my girlfriend spent 6 days here and all I can say is that it's absolutely amazing. The location is great, the people are super friendly, the services are great aswell. The massages are the best we have ever had, the atmosphere is super cozy, the food is incredible, and the rooms are simple but very cozy with all necessities. Laundry service is available for 50bht/kg, there's a swimming pool, discounts on massages for guests, and of course a nice beach with a good view.

We loved every day we spent here. We were here in low season (late November, early December) so it wasn't super busy, but I can imagine it's super popular for families so be aware (if you're a couple like us that loves peace and quiet) that it can get loud with all the children.
