The Cosy

I spent 10 days at the Cosy in Koh Phangan. I extended my stay three times as I enjoyed it so much. The rooms are simple but wonderful, they have a super well maintained salt water pool, located right on the beach and next to a motorbike rental shop, great restaurant, and the staff is really friendly. Cant recommend enough.

I completely loved staying at this place.
Yes, the rooms are simple! This is reflected in the prices.
Gary, the owner bends over backwards to help you with anything, whether it be to hire a bike, give advice and is often up for a chat in his restaurant.
The pool area is awesome! there are 2 super comfortable chill areas facing the beach with power available to charge your electric devices.
The food and drinks are cheaper than most places we stayed and delicious.
The people that stayed there were really friendly, we often went out in groups to bars and parties.
It’s a 10 minute walk into the town of Thongsala or a 2 minute ride.
Far enough to be quiet but close enough to walk home after drinking too much!!
It will definitely be my first accomodation when I return next year.

if you are looking for a place to feel good, the Cosy is the right place, I spent a fantastic month surrounded by beautiful people. The kind and professional staff made me feel at home. If you come to Kho Phangan this is the right place!!

Beautiful location, beautiful staff, more than willing to help make your stay the best possible. Highly recommend this as a place to stop if attending full moon party especially as they have a pre moon party with fire dancers 💙

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are clean, cozy and attractive. The restaurant has a good variety of options and staff are amazing. I had a problem with my water heater and it was replaced the next morning. I felt very well taken care of by Gary and the team. You also can't beat relaxing chill vibe. So relaxing. I look forward to coming back.

Nice place down by the beach, plenty of seating if you want to eat or you can lay down on the bean bags and work or chill next to the water. Staff is friendly

Location Center of the island (Thong Sala ) Near to the pier , post office , bank - Atm , Food Court , 1 minute with scooter ,5 minute to walk , 7-11 shop straight behind the hotel 1 min to walk , Big C 5 min walk and Makro Food center 1 min to walk , rooms are clean and comfortable , quite , pool awsome ,bar and restaurant nice and clean good food , beach straight next to the bungalows , friendly staff ,wifi free, pool table . I stayed 14 days over here big room with aircon just perfect , u get a scooter straight at the reception , best price guarantee all in once it was a great stay and holiday , thanks cosy will come back again definitely 100 points

loved this place ! the room was nice🫶🏽 i would recommend you to get one of the rooms with air conditioning because our room got quite hot in the morning (at night it was fine).
the restaurant was amazing😻 the food was delicious and the view was super pretty. loved the comfy area! the servers were really really nice.

Very cosy indeed everything you need a nice holiday beach pool restaurant staff very nice.

Rooms were minimalistic but totally fine. We stayed there one night to get the ferry the next day and for that, the location is perfect. In the night, we were caught up in yet another monsoon and the reception agreed via very good email communication to wait for us and they did for 1.5h after their official opening times. Very good service, super friendly and quick. Can definitely recommend.

Me and my boyfriend booked to stay 6 nights at this hostel. Couldn’t fault the staff who work there, they catered to our needs and thoroughly looked after us. Location is gorgeous right on the beach and close to the town and pier, however, in and around the hostel remains quiet and peaceful. You can also rent a bike next door if you want to explore the island.

This is an hostel/hostel for happy travellers who like to wake up in a friendly place where everyone say hello and talk to each other. Excellent ratio quality price. 7 mins walk from Thong Sala, plenty of food options. The bungalows are clean the confort is sufficient to spend a great time in Koh Phan Gan. Direct access to the beach with soon a brand new swiming pool by march 2023. The staffs is devoted to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The drinks, the food and the service is marvellous. I stayed there for almost two months and I had a really nice experience! The owner is super kind and generous. The place is in a very good location, 5 minutes from the pier and 3 minutes from the food market. The bungalows are according to the price. Very recommendable

close to inner city and party life. Makro is close for food shopping. Rooms can have little damage but nothing to serious. Nice and helpful staff.

Great place, you have everything you need there for a very good price. You will enjoy the beach view. Nice people, ambitionated and encouraged :) my stay was ~30days

Very nice place! Love it! We stayed here a week. Our bungalow had a nice and modern interior, hot water and ac, comfortable beds and clean sheets and rooms. Unlimited drinking and hot water is a big plus for me.😉
Wonderful view on the beach! The beach here is not for swimming but I didn't look for it.
Very nice and friendly stuff: always smiling and ready to help in any questions!
Also very comfortable that they have motobike rent with a good price.
Very comfortable location: close (we walked) to the big grocery store and city center but in the quite place. And nice quiet territory.

Friendly service, clean rooms, and easy access to the beach. The owner, Gary, went out of his way to help my friend and I with ticket issues at the ferries. Highly recommend!
