Castaway Beach Bungalows

I spent one month there and it was beautiful month! Bungalow are simple but just like they should be. Very stylish. Immaculate clean. Amazing owners. The place is very romantic. After moving out I’m coming here for a sunset cocktails. This is the best sunset place at this part of island

I found this location per accident in 2022 and instantly felt in love with it. Met there some strangers who showed me their bungalow and after a fun evening at the beach bar i decided to book a stay for the coming year. Well, i was not disappointed. It got even better with a new Restaurant.

The bungalows, the bar/restaurant, the complete atmosphere is soooo perfect on my opinion. It has that, like the name says, cast away vibes. You really feel like you’re stranded on an lonely island, but with great and super friendly people (staff) who really care about you. It’s like being in a great feel-good movie.

Everything is clean, you shouldn’t expect a five star hotel room for shure, it’s a bamboo bungalow but with very good comfort. The staff is always be there for you, if you need anything. The restaurant is great, they have the best thai iced tea I’ve ever drunk. And I drunk a lot around thailand!

The one and only negative thing to say is, that you hear quite anything from outside within the bungalow. So if you have a light sleep, you will probably be woken by the bikes passing by. So better bring some ear protection.

But overall, If i could give ten stars, i would.

Omg!!! This is the most beautiful spot and accommodation on the island! You're really missing something if you haven't stayed here. Super beautiful houses, super friendly staff and the view is a gift every day. It’s paradise!

Great location, service and rooms. The staf is super friendly. Their restaurant/bar has the perfect sunset, good playlist, excellent breakfast and diner options.

Beautiful place for your stay on Phangan. Little Resort with great people who look after you and help you with everything.
The rooms are small, but very clean and nice - there was everything we need.
The Restaurant was really good - especially the breakfast - I loved it.
I would definetly come back to this awesome place.

I cant put into words how enjoyable our stay at Castaway Beach bungalows was... From the personalized email acknowledging our booking, to check out. Service was outstanding, Nothing was too much trouble. The location is so relaxing and chilled and the rooms are clean and exactly as pictured and advertised. Food in the restaurant was top quality and they even do a great coffee!
Again, I cant say enough good things about this place.... book it and you will love it!

It is a one of the most beautiful places what we are visiting! Everyone and everything is so relaxed and chilling. Amazing from the beginning till end! The rooms, the food even the cocktails are great! That’s a lot for all- sure we will come back!

Great beach houses to stay. Comfortable bed. Really nice staff who arranged our return tickets and taxi plus restaurant tips in the area.

Probably my favorite place to sit and have a drink on the beach. Very chill. I would recommend it. Service is a little slow but people are kind.

Very cute handmade tiny house. We had a lovely stay here. Nice place on the beach, very friendly people. Sad to see people trying to get on the property to get pictures of the bungalows without staying here and write a negative review when they are told to leave..

we had the pleasure of staying at the beach house for 2 nights and it was incredible. martin and pen were just amazing and such kind people! the house was just dreamy, honestly such a wonderful home and the sunsets every evening were incredible to view! the breakfasts were so tasty, and so many places nearby either walking distance or with a motorbike. it was so refreshing to wake up to such beautiful views with such friendly hosts. i cannot recommend this place enough, its no surprise why it is always booked up! we already cannot wait to come back it was purely magical! thank you again martin and pen for being such wonderful hosts and our stay so perfect!

What a beautiful place with such nice staff¡ Just arrived on the island and stumbled into Castaways by chance...and will be back a number of times throughout my stay¡ Pity the bungalows are sold out or I would be moving there for the rest of my stay¡¡ beautiful ...and great curry¡¡

Our stay in castaway has been amazing! The bungalow was very nice and clean with everything we needed. The beach and sand bar were stunning.... we ended up staying longer, and stayed in the beautiful beach house right on the sea. The owners Martin and Pen couldn't have done any more for us. Fantastic place.

Paradise! Out of the 6 different properties we stayed in (some even being luxurious 5 star hotels) on our trip to Thailand, CastAway was by far the best. Martin, Pen and the team were very friendly and helpful, we stayed in the beach house which was super clean, spacious, homely and had everything you could need. Breathtaking views and a beach to die for, they had the beach cleaned and raked every morning.

The owner and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly 😍 they offer only breakfast, but there are plenty of nice restaurants in a few minutes walk. Our favourite was Mama Kop just next "door" . The beach at Castaway not so swimmable but the location and the view makes up for it in a big time. The huts are lovely, well taken care of. It's the perfect place to chill and recharge. We loved it 😍 thanks a lot for everything 🤩

We stayed for 2 nights, the young lady at reception and the owners were very friendly, definitely makes the difference!

Looking for the perfect beach getaway? Castaway Bungalows are right on the beach and have the perfect views for the best sunsets on the island (not to mention the best coffee in Thailand!) The team is super friendly and will go out of their way to make the best experience possible. The bungalows are super cute and environmentally friendly. A perfect place to go for a walk on the beach or enjoy a relaxing day in the hammocks! The vibes here are all good and the local dogs will be sure to add smiles to your day.
