Jomhod Muay Thai

Jomhod is a really good teacher and the training is really nice.
I spent 5 weeks here training two times a day, six days a week. I lost 5kg of weight during my stay and my stamina, power and technique improved a lot. I also had my first fight here. It was a nice experience and I will never forget my first victory with Jomhod Muay Thai.

The gym is not a new build and if you want to have it super clean it might not be to your liking, but that's much closer to what I imagined of how a Muay Thai gym in Thailand looks like.
The training is different to most of the other gyms. You have to do the warm up and stretching on your own and then you join Jomhod or Reep for training your technique.
The people there are all really nice and it is a lovely atmosphere.

The best gym in Koh Phangan 🥰 with the best trainers ever 🏆🙌 I started Muay Thai just for fitness, going a couple times a week but I slowly got addicted and starting going everyday. (And have had 3 fights since) JomHod (the owner and main trainer) his brother Reeb always teach you everything properly, and ensure your technique is correct as well as pushing you to work hard! They are always so positive and make you feel great after every class. You always get to spar and clinch with Jom and Reeb who between them have had hundreds of fights so you are always learning and never get hurt. Jomhod Muay Thai is a family style gym and since starting at Jomhod Muay Thai I can say I have found my second family in Koh Phangan, and am so glad to have chosen to start my Muay Thai journey here with such kind, caring, and professional teachers ☺⭐🙌

Great experience I can recommend it to everyone! The trainers speak very good english and are very nice and welcoming.

During personal training, the trainer found my weaknesses and gave me great advice and exercises to improve on them.

The gym does not have a website, but they have an instagram account and they reply quickly (jomhod_muaythai_gym).

I had a great private lesson today with Jomhod. His English is excellent and he is very fun and a relaxed instructor. Great location and new equipment and he has 14 years experience teaching after a long successful fighting career . Highly recommended!

I had an amazing one month training with Jomhod and his brother, Reeb. They treat you like family, the gym is not crowded, which means you get maximum attention and training. Reeb is amazing at sparring, he treated me like an adult in sparring and constantly challenged me. I had great progress in this gym, they are like family! Other gyms maybe big and commercial, but this gym they care about you. The best Muay Thai experience ever, I will miss you guys, thank you!

We had a lot of fun with Jomhod and his Crew. It looks not like the other gyms in Thailand but try it. We did a lot of pad and bagwork but here the couches have a really good eye for the technique and the little Things you can do better. I will really come back next year

Jom Hod Muay Thai is the best gym to learn and develop Muay Thai on Koh phangan. It is a small family run gym where everyone is welcomed and taught with such expertise and care that students keep coming back year after year. The head trainer Jom an amazing ex champion Muay Thai fighter has such a passion for Muay Thai it is infectious. He teaches absolute beginners and experienced fighters in a positive, supportive way so that everyone can advance at a pace that is comfortable for them. His brother Reeb is also an amazing trainer who still has regular fights and pushes you to get fit, learn and have fun in the best way possible . Their younger brother Pacquiou is also involved in training and makes sparring so much fun. I have lived on a Muay Thai camp and trained at a few other gyms in thailand but only ever made any real progress at Jom hod Muay Thai. All of the trainers care so much about their students that it feels like a home and family away from home! Every visit is filled with amazing training, lots of fun and so many new techniques. This gym is a really special place and I would recommend it to anyone completely new to Muay Thai or training to fight on KPG🙏🥊💫

Amazing Muay Thai Gym. What I like about this gym is that there is a good focus on the technique. The teachers are real fighters and very experienced. The atmosphere is very good, you will feel comfortable here. I will go many more times when I am back in Koh Pha Ngan.

The best place to learn Muay thai in Koh Phangan. I found out the hard way that other, larger gyms may be bigger and more intense, but you won't learn there like you will at Jomhod. He and his trainers take their time and make sure you know the technique before you progress in your training.

Very small place, intimate and personal. Jomhod is a very good boxer and great trainer. Very good English skills, good for technique training. I improved a lot during three private sessions!
