Siri’s island café

Awesome place! The staff is amazing and the food was great - they have some of my favorite thai dishes on the menu that are hard to find elsewhere on the island, like the banana blossom salad. My only (little) complaint is probably the size of the portions - they are a bit small.

The best Thai food we tasted in Koh Phangan! We visited twice and it everything was very good! We tried Kao Soi, spring rolls and fried rice! Everything was delicious!

Wow! Siri is a true chef that cares about her customer’s experience. After several weeks in Thailand some meals may taste standard to one another but this one stands out as the only restaurant I felt like leaving a review for. The dishes are unique and full of flavor. Siri uses her influences from northern Thailand fused with the local elements of the southern islands to create some exceptional dishes like the Barracuda Khao Soi and Yellow Curry with Passion Fruit. The real unique standouts though were the Pomelo Salad and Banana Blossom Salad. She has curated many of these dishes from customer requests or island flavors around her and it is exceptional to witness a chef like this.

One important note is that currently it is just Siri in the kitchen so it may take some time for you to get your food but I promise if you are willing to wait for it you will be more than satisfied that you did.

An excellent restaurant to eat typical Thai food. Without a doubt they serve one of the best Khao Soi I've ever tasted on Koh Pha Ngan. Affordable prices and a cozy atmosphere.

The baracuda Khao soi is unbelievable and a must! So is the pomela salad and the Massaman with baracuda.
Everything we ordered was too delicious.
Siri and her sister are kind and welcoming, and we hope to come back soon.
I also hope I could learn from siri about the mysteries of the Thai kitchen in one of these days🙏

We were so lucky that Siri’s had just opened the day before after being closed for several weeks due to rain. Drove 15 minutes on the scooter in heavy rain just to eat here, and was not disappointed. HIGHLY recommend the Khao Soi with barracuda, and my boyfriend really enjoyed the Panang curry with chicken. Also the beer was ice cold. Will definitely come back next time on the island 😊

Nothing beats Siri's Khao Soi recipe from Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand. You can't find Khao Soi often in south of Thailand and this is by far the best one I've ever had anywhere in Thailand!

She made it vegan for us meaning rice noodles instead of egg noodles as well as added tofu, and this did not affect the taste at all. So much flavour, big portion and cooked with love you can tell! Highly recommend it!

Siri is very friendly and speaks English if you have any special requests but do tell her before so there is no misunderstanding of what you ordered. However, for the Khao Soi I recommend you order it as is, and add her Chili Garlic paste on top, yumm!

Food was fabulous!! We ate the night before at the restaurant in a five star resort and the food was mediocre compared to Siri's Island Café.

The fried Barracuda was cooked to perfection, crispy panko on the outside and soft, white flaky meat inside. The Khao Soi Barracuda had a delicious creamy and thick coconut base with a nice level of heat.

The owner told us that they will be opening another restaurant near the pier soon, where they will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Too bad we're leaving the island in a few days!

Great tom-yum. Super nice lady cooking. We went back with another 3 people same day. Everyone took at least one main dish + something to drink and we paid around 1200$. Worth it also because of the atmosphere. I highly recommend that place.

I think that this place is very deservedly in the first place on the island. The food is unbelievably delicious, we have eaten here several times and both times it was great. I really liked the seafood stew, grilled squid, grilled shrimp, Khao soi. The prices are very reasonable

Best Thai food my wife and I have ever had. We came here every day for lunch during our 5-day stay on Koh Phangan. The Khao Soi with barracuda was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, ever. Siri and her sister are the best!

Lovely authentic restaurant. Delicious food and good service. I had a yellow curry and spring roll which are the best I’ve had in Thailand so far! I’d recommend booking in advance as they get very busy! Great value 🙏🏼🧡☺

Best fried calamari on the island! Other than that we didn't know what to order, so we chose their specialty Khao Soi from Chiang rai with a local twist of freshly caught barracuda. Amazing curry! As a salad, we got the banana blossom recommended and it was exceeding our expectations. Totally recommend the food and to chat with owners! Overall great experience 😊

This cute lil spot is fantastic. Siri the owner is a sweet woman, very hard working and creates fantastic food. I had the pomelo salad which was devine and the khao chiang rai veggie was just mind boggling. If you want real authentic food go here.

I have visited Siri's island café twice. All dishes are very fresh & tasty. It is like home made food for me. I recommend this place highly 👍

Two times here and this has easily become my favorite restaurant on the island. The barracuda khao soi is phenomenal. She even made me ho mok talay (ห่อหมกทะเล) which was not on the menu 😍

I lived 6 years on the island and ate a lot of great food, but this restaurant is just amazing!

We had lunch today at Siri's Island Cafe and it was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend it if you want real Thai food. Also, she's serving amazing dishes such as banana blossom salad, Khao Soi, pomelo salad etc, that are really hard to find on the island.

Service was also super nice & welcoming. She even brought toys & a highchair for our kids, children's plates & cutlery and took our little son to feed her fishes.

Amazing thai food, best Khao Soi i had so far on Koh Phangan and also her shrimp dish and penang curry are very good. Really tasty food, good quality and reasonable priced.
The owner and cook Siri is lovely, always chatting with her customers and makes you feel very welcome.

Lovely restaurant! I strongly recommend it! A giganosaurmus bug tried to eat my friend, and I was trying to save her, but one of the employees knew the bug better than me so he asked him to leave and they made a high five and the bug flew away.
