This hotel is a gem of a boutique hotel in the middle of stunning jungle nature. You’re surrounded by a palm and banana tree forest with a breathtaking view on the mountains and see. Birds and butterflies flying around all the time - paradise. For someone who loves nature, this is the place to be. The rooms and building are super stylish and well maintained. The service is outstanding - the reception staff will help you on anything like picking you up from the pier, organizing a scooter or planning further travels. Another highlight of the hotel is the infinity pool on the rooftop with stunning views and sunsets. I just loved the place and can only recommend this place 100%. Nothing to complain!

Best hotel we’ve ever visited!!! The location is good with taxi or a scooter, but it’s definitely worth the spectacular view. The architecture is marvelous and the rooms, service, and food are fantastic. Really best place to be in!

We had the best time at Varivana Resort. From the fabulous views to the delicious food and the amazing hospitality, everything was just perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much. The rooftop pool is a real highlight and perfect to relax and take beautiful photos. Pau accommodated us so well in the restaurant and we absolutely loved “Mama’s” Pad Thai and the Thai desserts! Their scooters were the top of the line and we received here and there little gifts for example a bottle of vitamin water with a cute good night note which was super nice and made us feel very special. We definitely will be returning :) Thanks a lot for everything!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel and were blown away by the amazing location and stunning views. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

Hidden gem in the middle of Phangan jungle.

Varivana is an absolute sanctuary: crazy views, infinity pool, beautiful rooftop and super super staff always willing to help. Super good breakfast in the rooftop, beautiful views and lobby.

Location is not convenient, but you know it as you have stunning views and a super chill atmosphere. Don’t expect to go anywhere by walk and rent a motorbike for your whole stay (I would suggest renting it in other place if you stay more than 2 days, as hotel prices are a bit expensive).

Rooms are super super big and spacious, we only missed a sofa or something to put or things on.

Only bad thing was that rooms are not soundproofed so could hear everything happening on the outside, plus there is like a space in the door so insects can come inside the room.

Either way, it was amazing and we would go back for sure when in Phangan.

This is the second time we have stayed at Varivana. We received a wonderful welcome and immediately felt at home again. The hotel is very stylishly furnished and has a pool on the roof. The service is incredibly attentive and very polite. For me one of the best experiences on Koh Phangan. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. A very unique view in my eyes for Thailand, where you usually stay in hotels on the beach and that's why we chose this hotel.
The staff is very kind, and we got a free pickup from the pier which is nice. The rooms are stunning (it's just a shame that there is a shutter that allows guests from the floor above to peek in while you shower)..
There is not much to do in the area and any entertainment requires a trip, so we will only spend one night there. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short stay and rest. Thanks

OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Varivana Resort in Koh Phangan, and I can't help but share what an outstanding experience it was. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with such warmth, and our favorite, a fresh coconut! As we entered into our room, we were greeted with personalized touches that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The bed was adorned with flowers arranged to spell out "Welcome to Varivana Resort," creating a warm and inviting atmosphere and our last evening we came back to the room with departing gifts of amazing soaps with the bed decorated again!

As if all of that wasn't delightful enough, our arrival at the room revealed a bathtub filled with warm water and fragrant flowers, inviting us to relax and unwind. It was a thoughtful and luxurious gesture that added a special and enchanting dimension to our stay.

The accommodations were equally impressive, with the room equipped with everything one could possibly need. The bed was amazingly comfortable and there were robes and slippers, and plenty of towels. The complimentary first round of soft beverages was a thoughtful touch, and the range of amenities, including a spa, room service, balcony, and a stunning infinity pool, made our stay even more memorable.

The culinary journey at Varivana Resort surpassed all expectations, with delectable food easily ranking among the best in Thailand. The drinks, complementing the outstanding flavors of the cuisine, and the happy hour deal, offering a buy 2 get 1 free option, enhanced the overall dining experience. Varivana Resort also excelled in providing convenient transportation options. They offered motorbike rentals, allowing us the freedom to explore the island at our own pace. Additionally, for any excursions we wanted to embark on, the resort arranged transportation promptly and at a reasonable price. On a night when my boyfriend and I opted for drinks away from the resort, Varivana promptly provided us with taxi service to and from our destination, ensuring a safe and enjoyable evening. One of the staff members even woke up and helped us check out at 4 am and drove us to the pier since we had to catch an early flight.

One of the best stays on my trip, The staff was amazing mainly Raju from the front desk and Mama from the restaurant. the food is tasty, the rooms are a bit small sized but nothing much to complain about. amazing pool

From the booking process communication was efficient and reassuring, Tong was able to accomodate my additional requests and made me aware of the ferry pick up service the hotel offers. The driver was very welcoming and friendly and kick started my experience off perfectly!

On arrival I was blown away by the high quality service every staff member provided. A refreshing arrival drink was served during the most comforting and easy check in process. No standing at the counter, I was seated and staff came to me and did all the necessary checkin requirements.

Guided to my room my expectations were exceeded, the quality, cleanliness and luxuriousness of the room (room 134: Room type : Sky Suite Panoramic Ocean View with Bathtub Room Incl. Breakfast for 2 people) was perfect.

Every little thing had been thought of and the best amenities were available in the room.

The rooftop pool was the best I have come across in Thailand with views to die for and the most relaxing in pool loungers which were a great way to take the heat away by relaxing and dipping your feet in the pool.

The rooftop bar and restaurant had a huge range of drinks and food. The cocktails are delightful and they have a fantastic happy hour buy 2 get one free (I think the happy hour deals to change).

Breakfasts had multiple options and was made to order (not Buffett) and felt like I was served my own personal buffet to the table. Daily fresh juices and a large range of coffees hot and cold kicked the morning off just right.

The hotel called to arrange transport back to the ferry (cost 200thb for the return trip) and continued to offer any further assistance during my stay.

I will certainly be back, and can’t recommend the hotel enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Varivana Rooftop, Restaurant, And, Bar. Vet service was incredible. We would especially like to thank Ball for making us. Have a wonderful experience. Fantastic stay for us, apart from one thing which is a shame. Staff so helpful and friendly, rooms are amazing - absolutely love the huge glass windows and they provide you with all the toiletries you’d need. Swimming pool absolutely stunning, the best we’ve seen on our trip so far. There are also bikes you can borrow for free as it is quite a long walk to a shop. However, one night we ordered room service and my partner had the fish and chips - it was very undercooked (raw in the middle) so we had to send it back and they were very apologetic. Worth noting to make sure you check the food from the rooftop bar before you eat it.

Amazing hotel. The place is decorated to the highest standard, everything is clean and the service and hotel employees were perfect and kind.

This hotel was beautiful, modern and very clean. The first evening we enjoyed the pool with incredible ocean and Mountain View’s. Everyone at the hotel was very nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. This is my favorite hotel we have stayed at in Thailand so far.
We did ask for a taxi and they ordered us the hotel taxi which was overpriced, but besides that it was a perfect stay!

Absolutely lovely location, the views are great. Rooms are very nice too and the rooftop pool and restaurant is amazing.

I like that is wasn't too crowded and not full of kids running around.

Definitely recommend if you want to have a relaxed experience in the jungle.
