Rooms are spacious, clean and with tropical vibes. Bed is super comfy with a stunning jungle view. Plenty of places to seat and store your stuff. We had a beautiful big patio overlooking the ocean with a nice reading area. Bathroom is massive and has a nice decor. A nice touch was the beach bag they provide with towels ready for you to use 😊

They also have a lovely coworker space! Bonus ⭐

Their restaurant has tasty big portions! Elevated over the beach, you have beach views while eating or lounge chairs to enjoy the scenery. We would definitely return 😊

You can request transportation for 150 baht per person from the pier.

What can I say about Cookies Resort apart from utterly perfect. The staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet. The food is amazing and reasonably priced (apart from breakfast, that is free). It has great WiFi throughout the whole resort and even has a quiet room for reading in. The beach is incredible with great bars and restaurants...... I could go on. I would say this place is close to perfection. Thank you everybody for making our stay so memorable ❤🙏

Such a beautiful resort on the hill. Look out Salad beach which is not too busy beach. White sand beach with crystal clear water. So much details that you know they creat this place with care. Breakfast is not bad at all for the price (its high season in beginning of February) book directly with them to help support family business and you'll get special price 😉
Free pick up drop off from the pier. Every single staffs are just been trained to treat guest right... if this is not what you are looking for for your holiday... then stay home 😉

We really enjoyed our stay here. Salad Beach is a very beautiful, chill place, and the view from our room overlooking the bay was simply amazing. The rooms are nicely designed and very well-equipped. The restaurant also offers excellent food and beautiful views. I would be happy to stay here again.

Really cool place located on a slope of a hill. The rooms are a bit old but definitely got some good views.

Nice restaurant too. Beach and pool access close to rooms.

Lots of families with kids when visited so if you're young adult maybe look elsewhere if you want to meet new people your age.

Atmosphere is very nice, definitely recommend.

Lovely hillside/treetop accommodation if you’re ok with the more basic (but still very comfortable!) side of things. The resort is really hilly so be prepared to walk up and down steep hills to/from the beach/your room.

Breakfast was limited for vegans (bring your own milk if you can) but there were some great vegan menu items on Salad Beach a few mins walk away.

The hammock on the balcony was a vibe! (But also: it’s up in the trees so make sure you have bug repellent!)

BE AWARE: the rooms have the old style (2 pin) Thai plugs (not the 3 pin we’ve used everywhere else) so make sure you have an adapter with you!

Considering the price - great vacation place.
Breakfast included is perfect and different every day!
They have buffet options and can cook some eggs for you or yoghurt with fruits.

On-premise restaurant is great! Prices are beachy (you can get cheaper food uphill) but quality is excellent! Very good Thai food and fresh spring rolls.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are not that new.

The resort is an amazing place to chill out for a few days. Our room was very beautiful with a big balcony overlooking the whole area. The staff is very friendly and helpful (providing taxis and bikes to rent) and the restaurant makes a great breakfast and other food. The area is very steep and not that easy to
reach (you need a car or bike to get around or visit other places). We weren't bothered by this, but I think it's worth mentioning.

Great place!
Amazing location, on the beach but located up to hill, has an easy way to the beach and to the main road.
Great, big, spacious rooms! With a balcony and a kitchenette, so convenient! Very nice design.
The staff absolutely amazing, very helpful, smiling all the time, seems they enjoy working at this place. Helped us with different issues, and were great!

The stuff was very nice. It all feels like family and we were happy to be hosted in this hotel. The food was the best in Thailand. They had great Thailand food and western food and cocktails. We were a month in Thailand and Cookies was our favorite stay.
The room was spacious and had all we needed. It had a balcony to chill out and fully equipped kitchen. We didn't use it because the restaurant was so good.

Super lovely hotel. Very well located - right on the beach but on the side of it - feels cozy and private and gives a great view of the whole beach.
The staff is lovely and they are very willing to help. The hotel taxi prices are very reasonable.
Ive booked a bungalow with sea view and would totally recommend - it is very private and has a great view.

It’s a really fantastic resort on Koh Phangan. The rooms are spacious and made with love. All you need to feel like home in paradise. Especially the food is beyond good. Usually I like to try different restaurants but this time we eat quite often in the resort as the prices , service and quality is the best you will find on this island. Thank you for a fantastic stay 😍😍

This corner of Koh phangan is stunning and we loved our stay at cookies salad.

The room was up there with the best we’ve stayed in during our 3 month stint in this part of the world. Really comfy bed, nice open tiled walk in shower, air con, mozzie nets and, best of all, a nice dainty adjoining kitchenette with ; cold water in the fridge changed daily and enough space for a few bottles of other stuff, kettle and coffee/tea bits. It was a really nice experience waking up here and spending the late evening.
Have seen other comments about children - yes kids from families but you can’t really change that. It’s life and it’s south Thailand. Didn’t affect our stay enough to be put off going again. Would go back.
Great access to a number of beautiful beaches in the area and lots of cheap food options nearby when exploring.

Our experience here has been great! Perfect for what we were after. I’ll try give as much information to ease any confusion from mixed reviews.

1. We had a double delux room with a sea view (highly recommend, the view is fantastic). Room was spacious with lots of natural light, and clean.
2. the resorts bar/reception/pool/remote working space etc. are located down near the beach. Depending on the room you have will mean a certain walk or no walk up the hill. The hills are steep (similar to a lot of areas on the island with views) You would have to be pretty lazy or have mobility problems for this to be an issue.
3. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails they offered (with a beautiful view). Breakfast included is good for the price. I swear everyone who complains are expecting some extravagant Buffett from The ‘Four Seasons Hotel’. Is there room for improvement, yes… but it’s sufficient.
4. All the staff were lovely and helpful.
5. The area is lovely, just enough bars and restaurants. Yes it’s more quite, but if you want to party - stay in Haad Rin. We really liked the peacefulness of the area. Also you easily rent a bike with hotel staff to get around the island.

Thank you Cookies!!

We were worried about the location and whether or not it will be secluded from the rest of the beach reaturants and bars - and its really not (:
The location was great + you can rent a bike right there and also go further away

Great place with great caring staff and the room has a balcony to the sea , we even had a hammock in it

Also there was a shared (we)work area looking to the pool/beach

If we were ever in the area again we would surely go back

I want to thank the staff for such a welcoming experience. It can be hard in Asia to find a place where LGBTQ couples feel welcomed and we felt that way the entire time. We were here celebrating our engagement after seven years. I also noticed a couple other LGBTQ couples enjoying. This is our second time booking here and we would recommend it to anyone coming to the island.

We really loved this place. Our waterfront bungalow (1) directly overlooked the pool and felt lively during the day, which we enjoyed. It had an attached kitchenette with dining area, and a large deck with dining table and daybed.

It seemed that all the cottages have kitchenettes but this isn't mentioned on any of the OTA booking sites. There seems to have been some renovations as the decor/paint looked pretty fresh. There's also a coworking space that isn't well advertised.

Restaurant was great, all the staff were friendly and the room was clean. Everything thing we tried was delicious. We got a bike through the resort for 250pd

Yes, there is a steep incline to the road level, but you can drive your scooter down to reception level and not have to walk too much if you choose. If you are older or unfit it will challenge you.

We stayed in room 7 for one night - sea view cottage - and it had a balcony and outdoor kitchenette, but the bed was too hard for my liking.

Definitely a family oriented place, the management are super patient with little kids, and the pool is a hive of activity all day. Our child had a ball with the other kids there.

We will probably stay here again next time, perhaps in a beachfront bungalow for the water views, as haad salad is ridiculously beautiful.
