Liab Duan Market, Ramintra

First time here got a great smoothie experimenting with the new MRT pink line quiet lots of good shopping haven't eaten yet great place to go far away from the center of Bangkok

As an open-air, night market in Bangkok goes, this is definitely one of the top and liveliest ones, especially with a more “local vibes”. Situated on the Northern side of Central Bangkok and along the Ram Indra-Ard Narong (or Chalong Rat Expressway Toll Road) near Watcharaphon & Ram Indra roads, the Liab Duan Night Market (or “Along The Expressway” Night Market) offers many essentials for a good, open-air, night market. It has plenty of booths selling goods (new and secondhand items), even interesting stuffs (cannabis or live lizards, anyone?), services (tattoos, nails, hair, etc.), and variety of food & drinks options. While Jodd Fairs on Rama 9th is more catered for international tourists, this one is purely geared for local Thais. Paid parking is available (30 THB ~USD0.90 for cars, 10 THB ~USD0.30 for motorcycles).

Love this place. Its has lesser tourist as compared to others, mainly becos its >20km away from town. But definitely worth going.

Big spacious night market. It has snack stalls and eateries serving local delicacies. Many many rows of stalls w animal petting/feeding stalls.

Clean toilets but get ready coins to pay for entry. Also has foot reflex stall within the night market.

A lesser known night market to tourists and located further away from the central area of Bangkok.

The night market has a huge variety of stalls and even a funfair. There are not many tourists in the area, and prices are slightly cheaper than the popular night markets.

Many local food offerings are available, too. Do come early as the crowd starts pouring in after 7 pm.

Night market in Ramintra zone. Have a lot of local food and fashion clothes available.

This market was a lot less touristy than the other markets we had visited, this meant the prices were much far lower than elsewhere. However this was only true when the price was listed. When a price was not listed, it was very clear that the market owners were providing a price much higher than usual based on the fact that we were tourists.

The biggest night market I have ever seen in BKK. About 1 to 1.5 hours travelling time depending on traffic. You will be spoilt for food choice. Open at 6 p.m. You need to spend at least 3 hours there excluding travelling time. I was amazed by the big scale of this night market. I enjoyed eating the seafood and walking around Liab Duan Market. No BTS or Metro to go there.

Went to several night market and Liab Duan is easily the best night market in bangkok.
This night market is packed with thousands of food and clothing stall. It is well organised and food and clothing were in different zone.

The food has snacks stalls and restaurants that offers different plenty varieties of food! The clothing stalls offers extensive selection and there is even pet stores too!

It was an enjoyable evening for me and really love the vibe and crowd

P.S. this night market is well known to the locals so you wouldn’t find many tourist / tour groups here.

Guys and gals, it’s a huge market, no joke.

I heard of Liab Duan only recently and found it a refreshing night market. There were many eateries (patronised by locals rather than tourists), including an all-you-can-eat mootaka buffet, as well as many street food stalls. Good for shopping and eating as well as photo opportunities. We also paid to feed piglets there. Would definitely visit again, and recommend to my friends.

It’s abit far off but it’s a very big and local market. With many food and buy stores and even selling pets and mini pet feeding station. There’s also Ferris wheel and small rides.

Worth a try to come experience a real local night market and not the touristy ones

Pretty huge night market with lots of shopping and food (both finger food and dine-in) options. There's grilled seafood, mookata BBQ, shabu, skewers, and even American style seafood bucket. Lively and crowded, you can find clothes, phone accessories, pets, plants and some vintage shops. There's also an amusement park section with some small rides and shooting games.

A night market that can only be accessed via bus or grab. Make it an evening tour on an wkeend after you visit chatukchat market in the day and it is nearer than to the city.

It's not near any bts which makes it less touristy. Love the vibes and you see mostly locals hanging out there.

Despite most menus and labels are in Thai, the stall tenders are really friendly despite recognising that you are tourists.

This market is even bigger with a lot more shops, you can slowly walk And shop, the food variety is also alot more. The great thing is that this market closes even later, around 1:30am they will start to shut. Prices here are also much lower.

This is one of the largest night markets in Bangkok. The locals go to this with very few foreigners, but don't let that stop you, everyone is very friendly and the prices are low. There's everything you can imagine here from clothing to hair cuts! Lots of food and several bars with live music. Get your nails expertly done with a gel color coat for $6.00
