Chiang Khan Walking Street

Can be busy yet still very peaceful. There is a large selection of street food and souvenirs. The evenings are beautiful and the people are very friendly. There is no loud noise so conversations are easy. I enjoyed 2 amazing days here. I would return because for more food 🤣

Lovely town to visit. There are plenty of street vendors selling food and goods. A few good bars.

Great place overlooking the mighty mekong river. Only 60 baht adult and 30 if children under 12. Your ticket gets you into a taxi that takes you up to the viewpoint.

A really interesting place. Lots of little stalls selling stuff a bit different to southern tourist destinations. Mainly local tourists. Many many many places to stay and you are right next to the Mekong.
I really enjoyed it. Even a western breakfast.

Went on a Monday night. More people than I expected. Hundreds of shops, street vendors and restaurants. Very clean, calm and casual. No loud music or loud people. Had dinner in a small restaurant with a larger than expected menu. Excellent food and service. Wife bought t-shirts for the family. Very nice experience. Because it is a "walking street" you must park on the main road and wall one block.

A very long market on Walking Street. Buy clothes, trinkets, and food of all sorts. Spas, hotels, massage parlours, and bars are all along on this street. It's worth walking through. It is very busy. I personally did not notice any vegan, vegetarian, or halal options (I could be blind)

Should be here if you're in Loei, operate from 6pm. Interesting place to shop for souvenirs, nice local and foreign foods restaurants. Highly recommended place of interest.

Much more peaceful than walking streets in other Thai cities. It has a soft spoken, mature vibe. Great street food and lots of interesting wears. We enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk for the return to our car. Many of the boards on the boardwalk are rotten so walk cautiously.

A fantastic street with its old wooden house... a reminder of Luang Prabang.

must visit night market in Chiang Khan old town, many food, snack, hand craft, clothing and souvenirs. Enjoy my walk here and thai body massage at only 300bath / 1.5hours.

I enjoyed 2 nights in Chiangkhan and the walking street market was fun to walk around. I tried many different foods from the friendly vendors and enjoyed the atmosphere. Can take nice photos.

Enjoy with food, drink and traditional products on walking street.
Tryout Thai traditional activity, give alms to a Buddhist monk in the early morning.
