Wat Phra Dhammakaya is a large place suitable for making merit, meditating, and relaxing. I had the opportunity to be a volunteer at the temple. I really liked it and gained a lot of experience, and got to know lovely, friendly people. There aren't many people on weekdays, but on important days or activities in the temple, people often gather at the temple to make merit and meditate, such as offering robes, offering Kathin, etc. In addition, the temple also has a tram service, making it convenient since the temple is quite large. What I‘m most impressed with is the bathroom because it’s clean, and every time you enter the temple, there will be shoes for you to change into before entering. If I have a chance, I‘ll definitely go again.

It is a Buddhist temple. It was found by nun Chandra Khonnokyoong and monk Luang Por Dhammajayo. It is the best-known and the fastest growing temple of the Dhammakaya tradition. This tradition, teaching Dhammakaya meditation (Vijja Dhammakaya), was started by the meditation master Luang Pu Sodh Candasaro in the early-20th century.

the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, she answered all our questions extensively; although we booked a 90 minutes tour, she spent 3 hours with the two of us

Very peaceful place with unique Buddhist temples and very friendly people. We had great tour there and learn new things about Buddhism. Also they made memorable photos for us. Highly recommend you to visit this place if you want to find the inner peace. Donations are welcome, but not mandatory and no one will push you to make it. But I think it’s good way to say “thank you” for everything you’ll get in this incredible place.

Different than other temples, the people were so nice and welcome. You may book a guide through phonecall one day before visiting this temple. All for free. It's also good for meditation and relieving energy 😁

The most stunning unique the way of practicing meditation along with the doctrines which is bring the very beginning of Buddhist traditions from the past to the present; The way to offer the food to the monastic community, the way to pay homage to the lord Buddha or the way of built the Dhammakaya Cetiya. This place is very open for everyone from around the world not limited to race or genders. There are the room “Panya Room”for meditation that open 7 in the morning to around 5 PM in the evening. There are cafeteria for everyone to eat which is serve the free food for breakfast and lunch. The main reason is just for keep everyone free from worrying about hungry so you can come and accumulate merit by offer the food to the monk (the temple prepare already you just come and offer) and , or you just come and meditate. Because the abbot once said “Meditation for peace”, “Everyone can meditate” and “Peace is inside us” .
Peace will find you hear. ☺🌟🌟🌟

I was amazed by this place. The tour guide was extremely interesting and showed me and my friend all of the important places and explained to us a lot about Buddhism and the culture. Coming here I had no expectations, but I was so positively surprised. I highly, highly recommend this place to visit and add this to you’re list of places to visit near Bangkok. It is spectacular.

You can carry a lotus flower as you do a walking meditation around the center dome. It looks really beautiful at night.
