In the heart of central Pai with the night market / walking street and loads of bars bars and restaurants on the doorstep, the location is perfect. Amazing infinity pool (not huge but adequate as it’s rarely busy), beautiful green grounds, and clean spacious room.

I stayed longer than planned due to extremely comfortable beds and such kind and accommodating service. Right on walking street with a beautiful pool area and views of the river.

If going to pai I highly recommend this place.
It's right beside the main 2 streets, it has the feel of a forest resort.
Two things need to be changed to be full 5 star,
1) shower head needs to be replaced with the hand held ones with multiple settings.
2) the infinity pool is nice but when we were there it was just too cold.
It should have a temperature set point maybe 22deg? Your already recirculating the water why not temperature control it?.

We were in Rim Pai Cottage for more than a week and it was amazing!
The location is the best, just in front of the walking street and near all the good bars an restaurant.
The crew of the place so kindly and amazingly helpful.
The room is quite big and comfortable with A/C and hot shower.
Really nice pool with a river view.

Definitely will come back next time in Pai!

I cannot recommend Rim Pai Cottage enough! My friend visited Thailand 10 years ago and this was one of his favorite spots he stayed. He booked me two nights here as a birthday present and I ended up booking another night because I loved it so much. You can have a view of the river from your room and are able to see mountains too. It was beautiful! And the comfiest sleep I've had in Thailand. Once you leave the cottage you're right on walking street which is super convenient. The staff is some of the nicest I've met too!! Very accommodating :)

Rim Pai Cottage is an excellent place to stay! The owner and all the staff are very kind and attentive to all the guests' needs. The location is wonderful, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Our room had one wall that was ceiling to floor window and faced the river. It was very beautiful. You will definitely not be disappointed if you stay here!

Very comfortable and peaceful hotel. Always nice and quiet and you can't hear other guests/the street so very nice. You sometimes hear the open mic nights from bros cafe but it's actually quite nice when you do!

Location is amazing. You are in the middle of the walking street. Turn right for cafes, bars, the bus station and tourist activity and motorbike rentals, turn left for lots and lots of bars.

Beds very comfy and spacious. Plugs in the wall socket and the lamps a bit iffy (connection was loose) and there's quite a few bugs as the river is right next to the hotel but there's netting on all the windows & if you bring an anti mosquito plug in / bug spray and be careful with opening the door (close it quickly!) Then all is fine :) Rooms were good and the showers good with good hot water and pressure, though not the best drainage. Free water, tea, coffee, kettle, hair dryer, shampoo conditioner and soap.

There’s a peaceful swimming pool overlooking the river but unfortunately the cafe attached isn't yet open due to covid, there's a lot of coffee shops right outside though which are all really good so this isn't a big issue

We loved our stay and definitely worth the money if you're looking for a relaxing stay. Very nice staff eager to help with questions and luggage too!

We loved our 3 night stay at the RimPaiCottage. Such a lovely, cozy place to be and so close to the Pai walking street/night market. Our 4yr old loved the pool and after a long night of going out and exploring food and nightlife on the walking street he, and also we enjoyed havin a cozy and beautiful bungalow so close to the nightlife and also directly at the Pai river.
Our room was clean and just beautiful and we enjoyed our terrace view onto the river a lot. I can really recommend this place, if you are staying in Pai. A beautiful garden, calming nature and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the pulsating life of Pai.

Absolutely loved our stay here, booked last minute and we’re really pleasantly surprised! It really does feel like a little cottage. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only downside is noise from the walking street but it ends around 10-11 and didn’t bother us much.

Great little stay! So close to the action, the night market starts just up the road about 200m away. But it’s so quiet, we didn’t hear any other guests once in our bungalow. The only thing you can hear is the old timey jazz that someone is playing far away but it’s not so loud that it’s distracting. I quite like jazz so I really liked it.

The bed has soft and plushy pillows, clean sheets for a comfortable sleep, the room is notably clean and very calm. There’s all the amenities you’d expect, free water, tea, coffee, kettle, hair dryer, shampoo conditioner and soap. The shower has great water pressure and gets lovely and hot if you want it. Very relaxing after a day at the waterfalls.
One thing to note, because it’s next to the river there are mosquitoes and there’s no room safe for valuables. Still giving it a 5 star rating cause you can open your windows still as there’s netting on all of the windows, so they weren’t a problem in the room.

We paid 1200B/night but there’s cheaper rooms and more expensive family sized rooms.
There’s a really nice pool overlooking the river and an outside shower to wash off the chlorine. The cafe isn’t currently open (Aug 2022), but there’s great cafes across the road with cheap prices. Highly recommend Time cafe as they bake their breads fresh daily.

This was by far the nicest place we stayed during our month in Thailand. We were in the junior suite overlooking the river - pure perfection! Room was cozy yet spacious and bed was very comfy. Staff were SO friendly and the location was tops! Love, love, love this place!

5 stars for a reasonable amount you are paying (if possible avoid the hotel booking apps as those would cost more). Excellent location, right next to the end of the walking street so less noisy but yet convenient. Once you are in the property itself, a quiet and charming sanctuary, all greens, birds chirping, rustic buildings. Staffs are friendly. There is a small pool next to the river and also the bigger units along River too. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent place, right on walking street. Fantastic little pool, clean rooms, good hot water and excellent wifi. I twisted my ankle on the Mae Hong Son loop and the staff moved me to a closer bungalow, brought me a big bucket with bags of ice, they even offered to go out and bring me food. Top place with top staff.

We spent our stay in Pai in the Rim Pai Cottage in August and booked it directly via the hotel. The area had just been flooded so the garden looked a bit rough, but the houses were spacious and clean, we had a place directly at the river with a nice view.
The hotel is situated next to the river, about 200m from the bus station, so very centrally located.
For us, the beds , the AC and the showers are always very important for our stays and all of it is really great at the Rim Pai Cottage. The high rooms give you a very special feeling, the beautiful wooden teak floor is a pleasure to walk on.
Best however, after a 3,5 hours drive with around 400 turns on the road and 34.5 degrees Celsius when we arived was, that they had just finished the wonderful pool and we could spend an hour in the clean and nice water. I had a chat with the friendly owner who spends some time of the year himself in the ressort and there are not many hotels in Pai with pools at all.
Can only recommend the fullest

I have used this place several times.I love the rooms with a substantial veranda looking out to the river.prices now are 1500 a night but we booked three rooms for 1000 each which for the location and quality is very reasonable. Get there before 5.00 otherwise the night market makes access difficult. Great bars and restaurants are very close by.

Location location location! Right in the centre close to all the beautiful restaurants and bars but still quiet rooms overlooking the river. The pool and restaurant has a nice river view and staff are friendly. Nice clean rooms.

Nice hotel for a couple. The view is relaxing and the the place is calm.
Prices are average.
The has almost everything needed, only a wardrobe or some place to put the close would be useful.

Best quality + best location for a villa in Pai. Right off the walking street but still quiet. Beautiful pool and friendly staff. Just stay here!

Probably the best place to stay in Pai. The owner is fantastic and very accommodating. The location of these villas can't be beat. You get tucked away from the crowded streets but a few seconds walk away from all the action.
