Ban Dalah Resort

Ban Dalah is indescribably beautiful and there is a powerful energy here. Sunrises, sunsets, and mist, mountains and the constant flow of water surrounding the property. Each day seems to draw you in closer. leaving was quite sad. The water features and sounds were amazing, as was the Zen garden. Walking around the perimeter was an experience in itself. Garry was a great host. Ban Dalah is on my radar for a return in 2024 to further investigate kundalini yoga. The room itself was large, comfortable with a high ceiling and a sliding insect door which allows breathing the mountain air all night There is a beautiful white temple on the next corner. There is just something about Ban Dalah. Surreal

I am trying to write a summary of our short stay at this mesmerizing place. It is so difficult to put in writing the feelings of the peace and comfort that overwhelms you as soon as you step inside the premises. So I will skip this attempt and start with the practical stuff.

Garry is a wonderful host! He arranged a car to bring us from and to Chiang Mai. He helped us to rent a motorbike here in Pai and took a lot of time from his busy schedule to introduce us to Pai and his favorite areas.

The room is tastefully decorated, like everything else on the property, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including mini fridge, a kitchen sink and the most important - the balcony with the stunning view of the rice fields and the mountains. The hot water in shower is running momentarily.

The common area is designed in the such way, that the guests could fell into meditative and rejuvenative state without any extra effort. Useful to mention, that the guests are allowed to use the kitchen, kitchenware and cooking stove, the washer, sauna and many other things that can be found in the common area.

Please note, that the place is completely renovated and is under the new management since November 2023. All reviews before November 2023 (positive or negative are irrelevant as of now and all information is not applicable)

We fell in love with this place and would love to come next year and stay much-much longer. (Do I still need to recommend this oasis? If yes, then it is highly recommend it!)

The quietest, most magical stay in the Pai area. Located 10min out of town, wake to the sounds of frogs and bird life. Experience your morning tea or coffee observing the sunrise over the Pai Valley… Spend afternoons pool side, flip flop between pool and sauna for deep relaxation, embracing the ever changing Zen Garden, and watch nature at work. For a moment of calm in your world.

Stunning view from bungalow to rice fields. Nice and clean room, and very friendly staff. Will come back next visit to Pai. And they are pet friendly wish is a huge plus also)

The view alone is worth the price. Quiet, calm and stunning view. A little bit outside town but a 30 min walk will do the trick. Have a small swimming pool.

Lovely ambience. Helpful staff. Relaxing stay.

Would recommend this place. Hospitality are friendly and nice view.
