Khao Chi Chan Buddha Reviews

Perfect for sight-seeing.
The place was huge and the view was great. It is an open area so better bring your umbrellas and hats especially that it is usually hot in the area although there are some gazebos where you can rest or meditate.
Comfort rooms are available and some stores selling refreshments and souvenirs.
We went here via Grab since it is a bit far from the other spots we plan to visit in Pattaya.

Wow! Built on the side of a mountain out of solid gold. What an amazing accomplishment. Add to that a beautiful landscape and spectacular views, and you truly have something amazing.

Beautiful place with well kept ground and a good view of the Buddha in the mountain.
Could probably do the whole thing in about 30 minutes as the grounds are quite small. Not much shade available so bring a hat/umbrella if it's a sunny day.

A big Buddha statue has been laser-engraved into the mountain. Although it is located far from Pattaya city, the visit is worth driving. The entrance is free for all and the area is open with a beautiful garden.

What an amazing creation. It is truly amazing what humans can create when given the opportunity.
The outline is real gold, and the sheer size of the image of Buddha is impressive.
One of the best sights in the area. Its nice to get away from the busy streets of Pattaya and get close to the countryside. Take the oppurtunity to visit and worahip.

Impressive buddha statue lasered into the mountain. It takes a few minutes to get there from central pattaya but you can combine it with a trip to Nong Nooch Garden for example. It's all nice and clean and for free.

On January 1996 Phra Chomklao Technology Institute in Thonburi used laser technology to penetrate the limestone mountain. They cut the outline of a Buddha image, that would become the largest line-edged Buddha image in the world and a permanent religious representation of Thailand. The Buddha image was later inlaid with gold leaf, blessing the mountain with permanent status as a sacred site. The guided laser technology used was the first of its kind, introduced to carve the image of Lord Buddha.

An impressive Buddha statue has been laser-engraved into the mountain. Although it is located far from Pattaya city, the visit is worth the drive. The entrance is free, and the area is open, so make sure to bring the necessary items for shading yourself.

It's pretty impressive with the amount of gold ingot. The rest is just meh. All you can do is just donate money for spiritual stuff. Btw, the cafe has 3 cats

Really nice. We was supprised when we went to this place. There are a giant sculpture of Buddha. There are a lot of people coming to sightseeing. You have to go to this place when you visit to Pattaya

The Khao Chi Chan, often known as Laser Buddha Mountain, was not truly sculpted by lasers. Craftsmen used the laser-projected guide to manually hand-hew the picture of the Buddha in the meditation position onto the cliff face. Later, gold colored tiles were inlaid into the sculpted lines' fissures to make them apparent from a distance. The Buddha figure, which is thought to be a sculpture accomplishment, is 130 meters tall and 70 meters broad.

Free entrance, but this place is far. Make sure you've rented a car to wait for you to avoid hassle . Inside many foods , drinks, Chinese food plus souvinir . Clothes like shirts, bags , slippers , and hat are just inexpensive. If you see the price already, there is no need to bargain. Worthy to visit , make sure you bring an umbrella too, and drink water to keep you hydrated. Huge parking lot.

A beautiful place to visit. There are some other sites nearby as well but nothing is within easy walking distance. There is a sunflower field near the stone mountain and the engraving is great for photos. I think however the site only warrants about a 1 hour max visit.

🕊Khao Chi Chan Buddha is a serene masterpiece, with its golden Buddha gracefully etched into the mountain's surface. A tranquil escape just 40 minutes from Pattaya, this monumental site seamlessly blends natural beauty with spiritual awe. A must-visit, seamlessly blending art and nature🙏🏼

Nice place to visit. Souvenir shops and restaurants. Relaxing walk around. If you are in Pattaya and been here before it's a must see. Entry is free for everyone.
