If you’re into ancient Khmer ruins, this tower shine is one of the best preserved historical sites dating back 900-1000 years ago. The carved sandstone lintels and passageway columns are original. The original exterior stucco over the brick walls can be seen. The one corner prang has its original “crown”. Beautiful, quiet grounds. Easy drive from Surin city. Nice to see a village community take care of this significant historical site.

Beautiful temple in Khmer style from the 12th century, renovated and converted into a Buddhist temple. Make sure to watch the sculptures and carvings closely.

The temple is beautiful and in good condition. We traveled from Surin by public bus to visit this temple. We took about 45 minutes to discover the temple, and we were lucky because there was no other tourist.

Beautiful historical place in Sirin. A must visit I do recommend. However, you better go with local tour guide. They'll tell you deeply about each historical story of art on the brick and around. It was fun and worth your time listening. You'll see many perfect shape of historical art and ruins of Hindu temple that was built in 12th century here. It was amazing.

The annual festival of lights is fantastic. You have to buy the ticket early enough otherwise you sit in the back. You can still see the show great but unfortunately you can't take nice photos. You have to see this festival 😍😍😍😍

50 baht to get in. Totally worth it. Old Khmer temple restored in Ayutthaya and we'll kept to this day. Feels like you're in Ankor Wat

The most beautiful and complete Khmer temple ruins in Surin. Noteworthy for Apsara reliefs similar to those in Angkor Wat. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful old castle and grounds with beautiful lotus blossoms in the wraparound pond. Entrance is 10 baht for Thais and 50 baht for foreigners. Of special note is the staff/guard who was extremely helpful going out of his way to show my fiance and I where the best places to take pictures were. It's only a few minutes off of the main road between Surin and Si Sa Khet very easy to stop in for a quick side trip.

Good reserve castle in nice condition. The stone crafts are reserved and renovated in good condition. Small place but worth to drop by.

Faces east, so morning is perhaps the best time to photograph. Be sure to explore the grounds and see all the beautifully carved lintels.

This trip was my first visit, it was less people the day I visited which I like it it's not too crowded. It's only a small but it worth the visit. Recommend to visit Prasat Hin Pranom Rung too, which is very beautiful and not too far from Prasat Si Khoraphum.
