Sun Moon Star

Lovely place and wonderful owners! I spent a week here. The bungalow was spacious and clean. I felt super safe here while travelling alone.
The owners are really really sweet and helpful. Trustworthy bike rental for 200 bath. It's a short walk from the beach and really quiet.

This review is just for the restaurant at the hotel. It's a bit tricky to find if you're not staying here but the thai food is excellent and service very friendly. Would definitely come back!

We are vegetarians and On cooked us amazing curries and other dishes with tofu and not spicy.

We had a wonderful stay at Sun Moon Star. The room was spacious, clean and affordable. The owners and staff were some of the nicest people we have met in Thailand. Delicious food and amazing baked goods at the restaurant. Beautiful view. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach. You can rent scooters directly from them. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back!

The place is clean and quiet, full of light, with spacious room and bathroom, the shower is leaking in some places but not critical, because the water flow is strong which is so rare on this island!
The staff are very friendly and helpful!
And the food in restaurant is delicious, fair prices. Coconut shake is one of the best I tried!🤤

Perfect location, very close to the beach, the family that runs it is so nice and friendly. We’ re staying in the sea view villa for 3 nights. There’s everything you need, A/C, comfy bed, you can rent a scooter and what we enjoyed most, the super tasty food in their restaurant. You can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We would stay longer, if we could :)

Nice and cozy bungalows with a stunning view during your meals. Strategically good situated to reach the beach without a scooter.

Overall nice & clean resort with a decent restaurant. Nice family runs the place. 5 minutes walk to the beach. They offer island round trips, taxi service, laundry service and scooter rental. Breakfast can be customised. Rooms have AC, fridge and microwave oven. Also sells gasoline for 40 baht per bottle. Nice seaside view from the hotel restaurant. Good for the price.

Clean and quiet. Awesome location just far enough away(5 min walk-max) from the not so busy beach area , which is very nice. The sister's that run Sun Moon Star are very friendly, we had a lot of laughs. One of those rare places that very quickly makes you feel like you're home. Wished we stayed longer. See ya next time.

We liked this place veru much. We changed 4 hotels during the journey and we liked this hotel most of all! It is new enough, clean, there is everything in the room that we need. No insects. The hostess is so welcoming and friendly. The meal is tasty, big-portioned and the price is ok. Wonderful view! The sea is about 10 minutes to go and the way is easy. Hoping to return to this place one day

Wonderful family-run hotel in a quite area close to the beach. Nice rooms with balcony and view to the sea. Highlight: two lovely and funny sisters manage the hotel and will always be there to help you! Delicious food! We spent two nights there and would always come back.

Lovely and caring family! They were adorable for all our stay (15 days). They smiled and laughed with us. The place is clean. The shower is separate with a little wall between the rest of the bathroom. 5 min walk from the beach. We liked it and would go back there if we need a place to stay. Nancy, Ai Lan & Sacha

Very nice and new cottages and the ladies that run the place are very sweet and helpful. Food in the restaurant is also nice. It's about 5 minute walk from the beach and 15 minutes to nearest 7-eleven and a few more restaurants. They have a taxi service but best to rent a bike if you stay here and they do have bikes available for rent at reasonable prices.

Just fantastic. Beautifull rooms. Very clean and close to the beach. The owner is very nice as well and very helpfull. You even get towels for the beach. They try to help you with everything. Price quality is excellent. Far above expectations. I don't quite understand the review below as is it very inaccurate. We travel a lot and this is one of the best places we have stayed at. Thank you!

Super host, good location, clean rooms. They provide you with water everyday, towels for the beach. Feels like home!
