The Waterhouse Koh Yao Noi

Our family spent a fabulous Christmas at the Waterhouse where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets, comfortable accommodations and warm hospitality. Kasem was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He organized our transfers from the airport to Koh Yao Noi, provided loads of tips on restaurants, was quick in responding to WhatsApp and was a fantastic tour guide!

This is a fabulous stay for groups looking for something off the beaten track and who are comfortable with rustic. The Waterhouse is a traditional home over the water with modern conveniences. The open design maximizes air flow with ceiling fans in each room and walls that do not go to the ceiling (sound travels). There is a lot of space with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The water is ground water with hot water heaters for the two showers. A huge bottle of drinking water is provided and we kept a nice cold pitcher in the fridge. We rented motorbikes for our stay but not necessarily needed as we frequently walked to nearby restaurants and bars (try the Sunset Bar Thaijito!) A nearby laundromat was handy and clothes dried quickly on the deck. The massage therapist at the corner is amazing and not to be missed (make an appointment!).

We would have happily extended our stay and we do hope to return!

Absolutely gorgeous house. Loved hanging out here. The host was fabulous. Plenty of room for everyone. Will stay again!!! Best sunsets and swimming and fishing at your doorstep.

The breeze moves through the house from the ocean and it creates a beautiful comfortable atmosphere and temperature through the whole house.

Loved this place so much! If we were to return to Thailand we would skip Patong altogether and just stay on this lovely island in this gorgeous home.

Host was one in a million. Islanders were super friendly. Not at all commercialized. Just relaxing.

It's a lovely seeing and very friendly family. The meals are truly incredible and always bountiful.

Lovely breezes off the water...

Lieu très calme les pieds dans l’eau. Très spacieux : 2 Chambres doubles et leur salle de bains et 1 chambre simple, cuisine bien équipée avec bar, terrasse très agréable. Karem est très accueillant et arrangeant. Par marée haute on peut même demander a revenir en long tail a la maison après la balade bateau sur les iles 👍 on recommande vivement ! bar sunset a 10 min a pied pour voir le coucherie soleil.

Excellent expérience, you can hear the waves when you sleep at night. The staff is very helpful and gives great advices about entertainment. Downside is bird noises in the morning so don’t sleep to late :)
