Sandbank Beach

Its a must try place for all. This place was included in james bond island boat ride packag.
Good- its out of the world place, mesmerizing and very very beautiful and scenic. No one can miss this place. It was slightly on the nearby island and it made us feel even more exciting to see around. It has thin strip of sand and 2 sides beaches.

Bad- theres nothing can be bad about this place, just watchout for jelly fishes in beach.

We have been to this beach 5 times since being on the island. We went at sunrise which was breathtaking and by 8 am you could walk out on the sandbank. We took our towels and sunbathed in the middle of the ocean. Amazing!!!

It looks it's most amazing from the air. When you are actually on the beach it is a lovely sandbar but not much more. Nonetheless the beaches around the sharp corner are really lovely.

During low tide it is significantly less appealing since the muddy, slightly green silt floor is exposed. However I am guessing that when the tide is just right this place would look like paradise.

It’s next to the pier. But super secluded and super clean. If you want a peaceful most beautiful beach in Koh yao yai. This is the place. Pictures cant do justice tbh. 30 mins bike ride from Santhiya resort. One could get scooter for 200bhatt and enjoy. The way to the beach is super beautiful too.

Amazing beach, visit during the evenings. No shops nearby so carry your essentials like water, drinks, food. It’s secluded and no one will disturb you during your visit. Can get very hot during afternoon, try to visit early morning or after 5pm

Also called the Laem Haad beach.
the view from there is something else, really really addictive, it’s almost endless, I can’t really describe it well but it’s majestic and a little intimidating as well, it’s not like the view you see from Koh Phi Phi which is more upbeat and vivid (but also so beautiful). Lots of crabs as well and you can see so many little islands from there.
(No sitting areas or restaurants around of course)..

The location is very beautiful, but there are many tours that make it difficult for you to take photos. If you plan to take dreamy pictures of this place, I recommend you to go there early in the morning. It is quiet and you can take beautiful photos

But if you want to make a good photos and swim there, you must check tide schedule to come in the best time ;)

What a place... if you're staying in Santhiya resort hire a moped for the day and visit this place. Absolutely Beautiful!

..a pleasant change, every time I visited this beach I saw it flooded with sea and only the photogenic tongue stuck out, but today it was low tide, but this beach still has its charm...
