Sabai Corner Bungalows

This review is for the restaurant not the bungalows.

The food we had, Green Thai curry, seafood rice, morning glory and Pat See Yew with squid was absolutely delicious. Prices are mid range for the area but value for money was top notch. I don’t think you could go wrong choosing to eat here. We shall be returning again in a few days time.

Very nice cabin in the woods, clean and quiet. The location is perfect as you have many options in very short walking distance. The staff can help you with anything from bike renting, taxi, boat tours etc.

Sabai means chill or relax in Thai and that is exactly what this place is. The view from the restaurant is delightful and the food is absolutely delicious. They have motor bike rentals for 250 baht a day ($8) which is the perfect way to explore this island.

This was our favourite restaurant during our week holiday at Cape Kudu Hotel. The Thai feast of four dishes for two people was incredible. Highly recommend

Lovely ambiance. I was driving around the island to look for a restaurant with a view. Sabai Corner will never fail you. Went for breakfast and as a fan of Penang Curry, they made it absolutely suit to my taste. Foods are in reasonable prices. The guy who’s taking the order is very polite and can speak English very well. I will highly recommend this place.

I have returned here because I believe this place has the best restaurant in Thailand. It is a part of heaven. Sit on your balcony with the sea lapping 10 feet away. Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of breaking water. Need to stay longer next time

We had lunch in Sabai and it was absolutely excellent! Well made with fresh products, especially prawns which just arrived from the sea.
The site is extremely relaxing, and the service is helpful to find the dish which suits your mood

Absolutely loved this place! Simple kinda place with beautiful setting and bigger than your usual (old school) bungalows. Bungalow 1 had a great deck with separate outdoor bathroom and semi sea views, bungalow 13 had great sea views and a nice deck and indoor bathroom. A wonderfully relaxed place that we’d all love to return to! They booked a great snorkelling and island day trip we all also really enjoyed! Breakfast and food was good too. Will be staying here next time on the island!

One of the nicest and most authentic place you can find.
All bungalows are made of wood and hidden under le trees. They all come with a terrasse, hammocks and a bathroom
The sea is 50 m away and sand beaches a little farther.
A good restaurant is at the location that serves Thai and Italian dishes as the owner is of Italian origine.
The staff is very friendly.
They also rent scooters.
Such a nice quiet place. Very relaxing !

Went there twice for dinner. My favourite on the island. Great food, beautiful surroundings. But they take 3% commission on credit card spend, beware.

I love this place! I did not stay here, but they still took care of me like I was part of the family. Noi is my favorite island in Thailand. My last stay there was at a very nice bungalow that was also very empty, so the restaurant was not open and although I loved my room, there was not really anyone around to help me with logistical stuff. Cue Selma and her lovely staff at Sabai Corner. I became a regular for breakfast and was able to arrange a fun snorkel tour through them. This place has all the warmth and fantastic hospitality that I expect from a good Thai guest house. The food is great as well. I would recommend staying here, and even if you don’t, stop by for some friendly conversation, silly cats, and a great view!

Can only judge the restaurant. Nice place directly at the beachfront. Cozy and low tables where you sit on cushions. Food was great. Perfect papaya salad and the other two dishes we had were also very tasty. There is a shop around the corner that sells unique local fashion that is different from all the other standard shops. Can only recommend.

Amazing place to stay. In house dining experience not to be missed. The most idealic location and set up one could imagine. Ate in most days. Really fantastic getaway.

The most beautifull resort on the island! I went so many times to this place (for almost 30 years!) and it is still the same :peacefull,cosy and nice! Good vibes,always!!!

Beautiful place with scenic views. Very nice wood structures. Service was prompt and friendly and the Thai curry with chicken was excellent. A little more expensive than most but worth it. It gets busy so visit off main meal times if you can

Most beautiful island stay we've had on any Thai Island. The bungalows are situated in a small jungle-like forest spot on a peninsula and guarantee for the best sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly and showed great hospitality. Beautiful beaches around, a beautiful island altogether and not too touristic. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Fantastic wood and thatch cabins in a great location. Great staff and funky wooden platforms over the water perfect for admiring the views with a cold beverage. Really enjoyed the fan room being able to hear the ocean all night

Speaking mostly for the accomodation: cozy, cheap and relaxing place to stay. The restaurant facilities are very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We rented motorbikes for 250 baht/24hour, which was a great way to visit the island.

Amazing food and amazing accommodations. Try the Massaman chicken, expertly prepared by Nong Daw. We stayed in bungalow 11 for a month in August 2021 during the Phuket Sandbox scheme. Lela, the owner is a wealth of knowledge about the area. Don’t let her talk you to death though, as she has a tendency to be long-winded. She means well. The tides are spectacular as they change so rapidly and dramatically during the day. It was normal for the tide to be lapping against the sea wall in the early morning, while in the afternoon the sea would recede 200 meters back into the strait of Malacca. If you have an opportunity to take a tour with Radt, which can easily be booked through Sabai corner, TAKE IT! He’s been the guide standard from which all others have been judged.
