If you are looking for the best relaxation in beautiful surroundings, this place is for you. May be the best view I saw after living 10 years in Thailand. And k.Piano has been extremely efficient and friendly in arranging everything I needed.

This is the most beautiful place I have stayed.
It was peaceful 4 days. The service and location were amazing. I’m lost of words to describe. If you are looking to have some alone time or just a couple time with no distractions this is definitely visit. The view from room and the pool is breathtaking.
The staff were so courteous and helped us so much with the commute to different places and getting to krabi too.

This is really an incredible place, the location, the food, the service, the spa. Everything was on point. What really makes the place special though is the sense of intimacy you have when you are there. You barely meet other guests and always have the feeling to have the place for your own. On top of that the two managers (a super nice French couple) are always helpful and will make anything possible they can (private diner on the beach? No problem; apéro on a private island nearby ? Sure; and the list goes on!) this being said, I absolutely recommend the place!

We had a great stay at the resort. A perfect place to recover from jet lag. The room and bed were comfortable (kept the doors closed to keep the bugs out). Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. It’s nice they include a 30 minute spa service with the reservation. Nice breakfast. Welcoming, helpful staff.

The only negative were the bikes. It would be more enjoyable to explore the island if the resort had better bikes. Multi speed beach cruisers would be better than the mountain bikes they have. People want to sit up when bike riding. It might also be nice to offer some ebikes, even for a small fee.

Amazing experience. Staff was so nice and welcoming, island is gorgeous and quaint. If you want a quiet, romantic experience then this is the place for you. If you want somewhere calm and welcoming for you and your kids to vacation, go here! The food on the resort is delicious and likewise on the island. We will be back!

Koyoa Island Resort exceeded all our expectations. This is a true gem on earth.
- The location right next to a beach - if you are looking for serenity this is your place
- The bungalows are absolutely stunning - lovely outdoor living room, beautiful bedroom, lovely ’outdoor’ bathroom.
- The personnel is super nice and friendly - they truly know how to treat customers
- Excellent restaurant, lovely massage and other services
- Kayaks, sup boards, bikes for guests to use free of charge

Arriving in paradise was so easy, the transfer from Phuket airport well organised with a 1 hour private ride on a long tail boat through the amazing Phang Nga bay directly to the resort beach. The Koyao Island Resort is a hidden paradise on a wonderful sleepy island with a totally charming and helpful staff, a wonderful dreamy beach with unforgettable views over majestic jungle rocks in the sea. The changing colours of light so beautiful. A secret that you only want to share with your best friend.

We have never stayed more than 9 days in one place before, and thought it might get a bit long, but then could have spent easily 2 more weeks. The views over the bay were so movingly beautiful, it needed nothing else but to stay right there on the beach front and watch nature in changing light. No crowds, just a few huts spread relaxed under palm trees in the hotel gardens, a shy house lizard and the 9 hornbills coming for a daily afternoon visit.

It was so relaxing, and after the first detective novel we startet to explore the island, which is small enough to be cosy, but also large enough to be a little challenge for a round of jogging, in 1.5 hours around the island, through jungle - past grazing water buffalos. Our days startet with watching the magic sunrises from our beds, then a short morning swim followed by Thai breakfast - never losing sight of the incredible views from the open restaurant, then relaxing on one of the sun loungers on the large meadow by the beach, occasionally a few relaxed and happy hotel guests, swimming, kayaking, a cooking class, exploring the islands in front of the hotel by long tail boat. We were offered to spend on of the days in a tent at 9 hornbills, which was amazing, a luxury tent with tremendous views, and after short tropical rain showers a whole rainbow framing all of it - the "floating breakfast" in the pool delightful. It really felt like paradise!

So we are sure this was not our last stay at the Koyao Island Resort and at 9 Hornbills…

Just spent the most amazing weekend at the beautiful Koyao Island Resort. What an incredible location, the view is just amazing. Our villa (villa 1) was really nice - very private, clean and looking straight out to the view. We ate all meals at the resort and the quality of food was really delicious and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I chose to stay here after several months of nonstop work. Here is a perfect getaway from crowded and noise pollution. Stunning view of limestone scenery, beautiful garden and landscape, authentic tropical beach villa have impressed us tremendously! Staff are very friendly and helpful and food is delicious. We also booked a boat trip out and encountered whale shark! Thank you for amazing captain with his hawk eyes!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay March 2023 at the resort. The greeting by the staff, the food and accommodations were all top-notch. They made our transfer from Phuket airport down to the Bang Rong pier, semi private speedboat to the island of Ko Yai, Noi, and then a shuttle to the resort was seamless, Same upon our departure four days later. The beach was immaculate, and so welcoming. The restaurant on site was all we needed for our meals. Plus they were oriental pie hornbills galore flying around. Each morning we awoke to the blue whistling thrush singing at dawn.

Just home (Australia) following an amazing experience at Koyao Island Resort ... 13 nights and 14 days of bliss. We can not recommend this resort highly enough.

The villas are authentic as is the whole Thai experience.

The staff are AMAZING and DO make the holiday ... each and everyone of them plays an integral part is making it the experience it is.

We (family of 5) went to this resort four times now, and we simply LOVE it. Ko Yao Noi island resort is tranquil, the view on Pha Nga bay is truly stunning, the villa's and beds are very comfortable and the staff is super friendly. Apart from that the food is very good and the island itself is really cute. If you are looking for a small, intimate resort to fully unwind, don't hesitate to book a trip to this little paradise.

This place is a paradise. Been here in august 2022 with my wife. Anyone looking for a peaceful time , this place is for you.

A beautiful authentique resort for nature immersion lovers. Nested between the greens of the island and the emerald of phangna bay, offering a stunning view of its magnificent limestones. Hornbills flying from trees, private beach, warm welcoming staff : this is a very family friendly resort where you can relax entirely. We will come back ;-)

Beautiful resort on a beautiful island. Everything about this place is so tasteful. Nothing is overdeveloped. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere with fantastic food.

Highly recommend the hilltop tent accommodation; quiet, private with stunning views. Perfect for couples.

My friend and I had the most incredible 3 days at the resort. The resort itself was stunning - very tropical and picturesque. The villas were also stunning (loved the outdoor shower). The only complaint I have is the food - the restaurant is a little too pricier in my opinion, but there are a few nice restaurants close by.

I can't tell how much we enjoyed our stay here. There are only few (I think 10-15 max?) villas in this resort. That's why you would never find this place crowded. All villas are facing to the private beach, which is amazingly clean. You got picked up from the pier from hotel's tuk tuk service. The welcome was very friendly. We got an upgrade to the front beach villa (we booked the sea breeze studio) which was a great start. The villa was one of those closest to the beach. Bedroom was equipped with air-condition, veranda outside with fans. Actually you don't really need them, the sea breeze is amazing enough. There was an outdoor shower Which we somehow didn't use. The pool and restaurant is facing the beach also. Restaurant has a small varieties of Thai and western food with really great quality (I'm very picky on food). A bit pricey but it was worth it. We got up at 6 in the morning and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over the Horizont from the pool.

We had our dinner served at the veranda for one night. You can chose to have one of those romantic dinner as well but we didn't need it.

All in all, I can only recommend the hotel. If you want to relax and stay away from crowed typical Thai beaches, this is the place to go. Be warned that you will stay in open villa so Moskitos are a thing here. But it is totally worth it. We will definitely come back.

Amazing. This resort is absolutely beautiful.

BOOK NOW IF : (1) you want to live a real experience with nature while still having a great place to sleep and shower, (2) you want to help locals from Koh Yao which are 90% of the staff, (3) you love romantic getaways and relaxation.

What I loved : almost all of the food is produced from local ingredients and the employees are from the islands. There is many ways this Resorts helps the people and the wildlife. You will hear and see many animals around the resort.

Must do : James Bond Island excursion, and treatment of your choice at the Spa (thaï massages are amazing)

DON’T BOOK IF : (1) you are scared of mosquitoes (we sleep with nets to make sure we don’t get bitten) or (2) you have to live the life of the party (hotel is mostly for relaxation).

This place is heaven. Awesome landscape, nice rooms, and very kind stuff. Breakfast was great as they prepare in a moment the dishes of your choose. We enjoyed the nice pool and thai shower. Also free kayak and bikes are available. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place without many tourists this is your resort.

This was a fantastic getaway over Christmas. Spent almost a week here, rented a scooter, and drove all around the island, which doesn't take long. At the time, there was a lot of construction on the island, and now resorts are popping up everywhere. The staff here were great, and the food was excellent. Venture out into "town" and find some local food as well. It's more rustic than mainland, but that's its charm.
