Loved our stay at the Lake Camp. Relaxing couple of days. Kayaking and trekking also included in the experience. Well worth the effort with complementary pick up and drop off in most areas Phuket. Stayed in end of February and not a single mosquito bite. Lovely food and great hosts. I'd highly recommend visiting here

Stayed one night at main camp and one night at lake camp. Lake camp was definitely the favorite due to your ability to swim and kayak on your own. No air con but the fan did a great job slept very comfortable. Food was excellent for all meals, missed that after we left elephant hills. Did an awesome jungle hike and went to a cave highly recommend participating in the hike. Also bring bug spray!

We did the 3 days,2 nights safari and jungle trek, which we stayed on the lake. It was the best experience ever. We enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and funny. Our guide Deen was funny and a brilliant guide, telling us about the elephants and the other animals in the jungle, he made it even better. The locations and food were unbelievable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Thailand. Keep up the good work 👍 5 star rated.

We did the 2 night/3 day experience (Elephant Hills & Rainforest lake safari)
This was an absolutely unique experience.
From the stunning views of the beautiful Khao Sok National Park to partaking in the great activities offered by the staff including feeding and interacting with the Elephants, kayaking and trekking, with our wonderful guide Saow, who ensured it was truly an unforgettable experience, with her extensive knowledge of the area and its wildlife to her wonderful sense of humour! Thank you Saow!

The rooms offered all the creature comforts of any 4 star hotel to ensure customer comfort, the food was great and was served buffet style offering a lot of variety.

Bear in mind that the Elephant encounter is only a small part of the experience and is around 1.5-2hour experience, personally this was enough, but for some it may not be.

Over all an amazing experience - would highly recommend!

We spent our 2nd night in that camp, always guided by the fabulous Pearl.
It is not very sportive : even if we do Canoe-Kayak and jungle trekking, I thought it would be more demanding. The guides take anayway the time to wait for you if you have difficulties.
The buffet is reduced compared to the main camp, but still very good (true vegetarians may find the buffet not very varied : I had for instance to take meat despite my convictions to have varied choices, or else it would have been steamed vegetables everytime!)
The jungle trekking was interesting : we entered a cave with many beasts... Very impressive, I will remember... But fortunately, you always feel secure (every group has its guide PLUS a park guide that inspects everything in front of the group).
The free time you have in your tent is pleasant : you can relax with the water, the starry night.
The jungle makes a lot of noise, but it is so powerful to hear the monkes screaming, the cigadas, ... There's always a member of staff to explain what you are hearing or what you can watch. They are all found of nature.
The only thing slightly annoying is that you have to wear a life jacket all the time : swimming and kayaking, and even in the long-tail boat. It is not Elephant Hills' fault, because it's the park regulation... but it means less pleasure...

Came on a day trip from the main camp. Beauriful setting and great food. We canoed into the mountains which was incredible.

We didn't stay here but very glad of our decision to stay at the main camp instead as you seem to get a lot more for the money terms of facilities and activities.

What a wonderful experience. Glamping on a floating glamp site in the middle of a lake in the middle of a jungle. Jungle trekking, long tail boat ride, kayaking , wildlife spotting, swimming and wonderful food and company. Our guide Yaya was the friendliest, most easy going, knowledgeable and kind person you'll ever meet. She made the whole experience fantastic. Well done!

I visited both the Bush Camp Safari (Chiang Mai) and Jungle and Lake Camp with my partner, they were both incredible experiences. Everything from the activities, facilities, food and staff (with a special shoutout to our guides Pong and Saow), were 11/10. All the staff were locals and shared their beautiful culture with us, the camps were much more than just a elephant viewing experience. Both camps were magical, and importantly, it was clear the elephants were well taken care of. I recommend Elephant Hills to anyone wanting to visit Thailand wanting an authentic and unique experience.

Lovely place, brilliant for experiencing the wild side of thailand. Drinks are expensive though. Our guide was called Chief and she was very nice.

We recently went on the Elephant Hills Jungle Lake Safari and had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Pond, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire trip. All of the staff were helpful and catered for our dietary requirements at every meal - we couldn't have asked for more support.

One highlight of our trip was the magical elephant visit. We were able to interact with these beautiful creatures in an ethical way and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We also enjoyed the variety of activities on offer - from kayaking on the lake to seeing monkeys in the wild.

Our lake tent was a great experience, with a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. We even sang happy birthday to Duncan, as the staff spotted it was his birthday from his passport at check-in - such a thoughtful surprise!

The only negatives were that we wished we had more time in the jungle tent and more time with the elephants, but this is clearly stated on the website and understandable for ethical reasons. Additionally, being in the jungle and national park, animals do wake you up at night if you're a light sleeper, but that's all part of the experience!

Overall, we highly recommend the Elephant Hills Jungle Lake Safari to anyone looking for a unique and memorable adventure in Thailand.

Wow! Just wow. I thought the Elephant Camp would be the highlight but the lake camp is something else. Remote, tranquil and unique. Waking to the sounds of the jungle, diving into the silky warm waters of the lake and enjoying the hospitality made for a lifetime memory. Go.

Top location into the wild for staying for 1 or 2 nights: beautiful lake, great staff serving top quality food and ... no phone connection! Be there is the sole recommendation

Beautiful from the moment you arrive at the camp and then the next day at the lake for our overnight stay.
So much time to relax, food was plentiful and delicious.
Loved the kayaking in the lake, it's a great spot to explore the little waterways - some other floating camps I noticed were more in the open water, and I could not see where you would kayak with ease.

Fabulous setting. Put yourself out of your comfort zone and take on the activities and you won't regret it.

If I could I would give Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp 10stars! Such a great experience and the staff and guides are constantly helpful and informative. The whole experience is perfectly balanced between activities, meals and rest time. The Jungle Trek is not for the unfit with a difficult climb up a 2km track, stepping over tree roots and up and up. But if you can make it, it is very rewarding from the information about the flora and fauna and the amazing visit to the caves with spiders, snakes and bats to see at close quarters.

Amazingly peaceful and beautiful place to spend some time and stay the night. We arrived at lunchtime, then did a hike to Diamond Cave. The hike is very accessible but incredibly humid (recommend long sleeves and trousers to avoid mosquito and leech bites). Saw cicadas, termites, and wonderful plants on the way to the cave. Inside the cave we saw huntsman spiders, whip spiders, crickets, hundreds of bats, and a cave racer snake (that eats bats). We also saw a gaur on the boat ride back. After the hike there was plenty of free time to swim with the carp, kayak, or just chill. The water is so refreshing and the setting is phenomenal.

In the morning you can hear the gibbons calling across the lake. After breakfast we went on a kayak safari and saw ospreys, monkeys, and lizards. More free time to swim before a transfer to our next destination.

Elephant Hills was a good experience overall. The first day we reached the tour guide was with us throughout and made sure we didn't miss out on much information and always ready to help whenever possible. First camp was good however as a heads up (because we weren't told about this), the second day is in a different camp altogether and you won't be able to take your whole luggage with you as they will be bringing it on the last day when you check out back to base. So make sure that you bring a smaller suitcase to pack clothes for your second day. Also keep your power banks fully charged before you head on the second day as there's no electricity on the second camp as its all powered by solar panels. Overall experience was good.

Booked the 3 day, 2 night experience which was amazing. Our guide, Pond was fantastic; always explaining things in very good English. We arrived late morning via an air conditioned minibus in time for lunch which was great (simple buffet but delicious). The afternoon, we visited the elephants - got up close to feed them and stroke their heads and trunks. Kayaking later to see monkeys and snakes in the trees, before heading back for an equally tasty dinner. The tent was incredibly well equipped with a hot shower and toilet plus full electrics. The next day we headed out to the floating camp via truck and long tail boat - the set of tents are sat out on the lake on floating pontoons amongst the clear water and fish. We had a super hike up the hill seeking out the gibbons; as well as entering a wonderful cave to see where the bats and snakes live (very safe though). Swimming and kayaking in the afternoon before we reluctantly had our transfer to Koh Samui. Overall an amazing experience for us and our teenage children. Again, a massive thanks to Pond for looking after us so meticulously. 👍
