Serene temple complex. Huge grounds. Famous and, while busy it still doesn't feel crowded. And it seems very "non-commercial".
You can sit outside under shady trees and listen to the sermon (in Thai) and then offer food. There are two times: early in the morning and then around 9:30-10:30am.
Nice, new museum (air conditioned) and a shrine on the 5th floor with multiple Buddha Relics. Quiet and peaceful. Hardly any people.
Free food and drinks for the public.
Coffee shop and religious stores.
Lots of free parking (multi-story parking building).
Will definitely come back.

It's a serene spot, perfect for meditation, mindfulness, and doing good deeds like sharing and offering alms. With its peaceful shade from the trees and straightforward teachings, it's a wonderful place to find inner peace.

The temple is so terrific. Feel peaceful and another best temple to visit. Another temple is the best organise such as car park and etc. Moreover, cleanliness, tidy and peaceful. The first time that I come here. Car park building is big and modern design.

The current temple nowadays is quite commercial compared to the old one. Their funeral ritual is also quite different than other temples in a good way. The parking are plenty.

Excellent cultural visit in Bangkok. There are some food vendors by the river side to relax and cool down after a long, sweaty walk around the complex. I took a Grab taxi, but you can take a boat ride here too. I would only suggest a boat ride if your hotel is conveniently located along the river near a port/boat stop.

In expressing condolences for the deceased, traditional gestures often include presenting wreaths during funerals. However, Wat Chonprathan Rangsarit is exploring an alternative approach centered on merit-making while abstaining from creating negative karma. This involves adhering to guidelines for arranging simplified, cost-effective, and meaningful funerals, incorporating a sermon before the Abhidhamma recitation.

The decision to forego accepting wreaths is rooted in environmental considerations. The offering of wreaths or flowers at funerals eventually results in waste accumulation, contributing to toxic pollution. By refraining from accepting wreaths, there is a notable reduction in the burning of Styrofoam materials, thereby preventing the release of harmful chemical fumes that can adversely impact the atmosphere.

Beautiful Serene Temple immersing into nature. The founder of this temple truly believed in living with no attachment. So the temple style is quite unique with not a lot of gold decoration like the usual Thai temple. Big wide open space filled with green space to meditate. Free meals at the cafeteria three times a day as an offering for anyone who would like to be fed. If you are looking for a place to find your inner peace, this is a great temple to enjoy your time and meditate.

One of the best temple in Thailand. It might not have lots of Thai Architecture. But it suits for anyone who wants to find some peaceful place. This temple concentrates on practicing more than asking for good fortune.

A very modern temple I should say, toilets are very clean and spacious and we'll ventilated, the carpark is very adequate and convenient it has 5 floors each floor can accommodate at least 15 cars or more depending on the floor, while it's very solemn and peaceful the temple is in continuous development and under construction/reconsctruction, the staff is very prompt, appropriately dressed and courteous, the monks are very brief and very modern with modern ideas intertwined with the roots of Thai Buddhism and very punctual.

This is a great temple for my opinion but the best way to experience is to go there yourself and 'make a merit' ทำบุญ
