Baan Ta Nid

A popular Thai restaurant along the river. It is rustic and gives a vibe of traditional Thai. The food is good and comes with big portions. Plus, the night that we were there, the woman singer was good!

Good quality Thai food by the river, only 45 mins drive from Bangkok. The restaurant is within the old style house, both air-con and outside seating available. The grilled river prawn and garlic deep fried fish is highly recommended. Coconut cake was also nice.

A hidden gem in Pathumthani! This restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes with authentic taste. The view is nice and relaxing, great for casual hanging out with friends/family. Service is great as well although I would say food is a bit pricey. Still, I think it is worth it and would totally recommend this place.

We wanted to try a new option along Chao Phraya as we had been to some of our favorites many time.
Decided to go to Baan Ta Nid. It turned out to be a good call.
Restaurants has multiple seating options: indoor, courtyard and covered open air seating near to river bank.
Tried few dishes. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful: cool breeze from river on a cloudy evening.
Service was courteous, fast and efficient. Tried a new soup: lotus stems in tamarind based sour soup, it was delicious.
Prices are on high side.

Update Nov 2023: on a lazy Sunday afternoon, we decided to enjoy another lunch by riverside and decided to go to Bann Ta Nid. Restaurant was pretty busy and we waited for 15 minutes before we got a table.
For starters, we had pork dish, glass noodles with prawns and stinky beans, fish cakes and chilled beer.
For mains it was fish in king som soup and plain rice.
It was a delicious dinner sitting at edge of the river bank.

WoW 🤩 love it here. My kind if delicious. Punchy favor. Good ingredients. Spicy for a baby chili 🌶 person like me, can easily told them. Cozy Thai house with a river view. The restaurant recommended foods in a menu first page are delicious 🩵❤✨ 🚗 Car parking just right in front.

Authentic Thai food by the river. This place has been my favorite since I moved to this city. Me and my coworkers visited this place many times. They serve authentic Central region Thai dished. Recommended dishes are: Jor Pu (deep fried crab cake), Khaopad Pratoo (mackerel fried rice.), Kaeng Sai Bua
Prasalid (lotus stem in coconut soup with fried gourami fish).

Very exotic place next to the river. You can come here by boat from Bangkok! Thr place is an old house, so you will have to take off your shoes. It is a Thqi custom so please understand and cooperate. The food is very nice. Very good proportion. Taste is amazing. We went during holidays so it is more pack than usual but the management still can handle. Very nice staff. Must visit.

Nostalgia with the atmosphere, blow my mind to the old days with the structure of house.
All food we order, taste is good, love them all, not too much MSG, crowed for dinner during weekend.

Recommend visiting for tourists, architecture is thailand woodhouse style place near the Chopraya river. You can get the old-fashioned thailand vibe, even more on late day time. The foods are delicious and fresh ingredients, this place is crowd on lunch and dinner time, parking is available.

The restaurant is next to the Chao Phraya River, with a good atmosphere. The recommended dishes are all quite delicious, emphasizing grilled shrimp. You can choose the size you want. Recommended to sit next to the river. You must take off your shoes to enter the shop. We then took the boat to park at the pier and then went up to eat at the restaurant.

Tasty food in the nostalgic atmosphere. Feel like going to visit grandpa's house. I love that there're shoes for changing. The food is also delicious. Worth visiting. Advance reservation is recommended.

Great food! Totally worth the trip an hour North of Bangkok! Great views too. It gets busy on weekends with families. We had to queue a little bit even we arrived at 2pm on a Sunday.

Slow local life. Heritage building by the river that ll whine you down. Fill up your stomach with home style cooking while watching boats passing by. Accommodation is available or simply dinner is also worth visiting.

Very chill place and the food never fail me Pad Sam Mhen has been my all time favorite. It's a bit far but worth going. Recommend go there in the evening is nicer. Day time is a but too hot.

A very lovely place. Nostalgic wooden home by the river. Service is attentive and polite. Food is amazing but one คะน้าปลาเค็ม. The place is PACKED so reservation is recommended. The food takes time but understandably with the amount of people.

Authentic Thai food at a good price

Stir-Fried Crispy Pork Belly with chilli and salt is good.
Fried fish with garlic is very good.
Overall is a must-try restaurant in this area.
