Vista Las Olas Surf Resort

This place is gorgeous!! We stayed for one day before heading back to the states and we did not want to leave. The front desk were extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant was good but the service is a bit slow. We had no problem with that. Just order another drink lol

This place is pure magic. Pure magic! The sound of the waves - they roar as the tide comes in - will be the best sleep machine you ever need! You’ll see beautiful sunset after sunset! The food!? It’s great! My friends Alexander, Fatima and Cindy will take GREAT care of you! Sitting in the open air and having meals overlooking the beach and ocean = good for the soul!

Amodeo, the shuttle driver, was so kind that he gave me a hug at the end of the journey. A hug!

The room was super - spacious and clean! I had strong Wi-Fi for the work I needed to do. I fell asleep by the pool.

Even walking down to Flores was an adventure.

Excellent place to stay! If you are traveling from USA- this is a great place.
Food is delicious, beach is private to hotel and rooms are clean. Because it is ES, there are mosquitos and ants- just try to keep hotel room door closed to abois bugs from coming inside. Overall hotel was fantastic! Would definitely come again.

Incredible place , my mom and I went a month ago, and I already want to come back to visit again! This is a beautiful boutique hotel which has spectacular ocean front spacious room suites with amazing and breathtaking views! Tasty breakfasts are included, we stayed in the green room and it was just fabulous! Their restaurant is beautiful as well, The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly ( kudos to Henry) all of them were very nice and welcoming, its located in a very private beach, we felt safe at all times, I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! We booked one night’s stay on a weekday and had the entire resort to ourselves! It is a small 4-room resort with beautiful views of the beach & easy access. The pool area is also lovely with lots of seating and an infinity pool. Everything is so private and safe. We stayed in the Gold Room which was also decorated beautifully & was very clean. The service was also incredible. A few items on the menu were not available, but the meat and seafood were absolutely delicious (special shout out to Antonio and Elias)! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I spent two nights here and really enjoyed my time. I've been coming to El cuco for the last 40 years. This place is unique. Worth every penny! Very beautiful and tastefully decorated. Someone really put a lot of thought into the lighting. It is also very clean, housekeeping is constantly on it. Our only issues were that service could use more training. They ran out of breakfast and had us waiting for an hour. However, management was responsive. Access to a beautiful beach we had pretty much to ourselves. Lay out at night poolside to catch a falling star. Turquesa room is totally worth it but gold room is also very nice. Also, we ordered pupusas for dinner and they were really delicious. They had a unique smokey flavor.

We were not staying at the resort, but ate at The Black Pearl Restaurant . The food was excellent with good portions at a decent price. We had dinner once and breakfast twice . Friendly staff all around..

Gorgeous beach, fantastic view — a hidden gem.

We were a bit skeptical when we were driving out to get to the resort, but the place was really well put together. The food was great and the staff was helpful, so service wasn't an issue for us. There are other hotels along the shoreline, which share the same beach as this hotel, but the number of people using it was limited to about 4-5 families. Overall, you basically have a 3 km strech of beach all to your own.

The food was also high quality and good, plus surfing lessons were offered as well, albeit expensive ($40 per person, per day). The tide range is huge, so night swimming isn't an option, as most of the beach is gone at that time. However, the waves can get to a nice height for surfing, but not too large. The waves are perfect for beginners during the height of low tide. The rooms are clean, well designed and have comfortable beds and air conditioning. The hotel building itself is modern and well kept.

This place gives you a lot for your money, but don't expect it to be a killer spring breaker/party paradise. I highly recommended it if you want to have a secluded holiday for both surfers and non-surfers alike.

Here is a little place that is hidden away from everything. The place has a guard to secure the place and a big wall to hide away from the outside world. The beach here is clean and there are suffer that have competition yearly. Be careful the waves do get pretty high. Rooms here are clean and up to standard for hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. The place does not have many rooms so don't expect a room always.

Excellent service, is like having your private waitress, very beautiful place , the food is also very good, the beach and pool are clean and beautiful. Is also very quiet and tranquil place to relax and enjoy. I will definitely come back

We didn´t have chance to stay at this resort due some private reasons. We have asked the hotel if the refund will be possible, which they have processed immediately and without any delays. The communication was perfect and I have my hopes that the services will be as great as the communication.

Love it that it's a small hotel with spacious rooms with great views to the beach. Awesome place if you are looking forward to some peaceful moments.

Beautiful Hotel except for the pool very small pool not as big as they show on their pictures, the food is good except for the ceviche with iceberg lettuce and the breakfast with salvadorian cream on small plastic pack container not tipical in El Salvador, but the room views and the beach are excellent!
