Pavlova cake was really good. Unfortunately the kitchen was otherwise closed for the weekend. The terrace was pleasant to chill at while admiring the buildings nearby.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We tried rosół soup and two types of quiches.

The staff are amazing. They are very customer focused. We ordered several things. They were happy to split each food and deserts so we could test more things. Waiting for anything is almost not required as they keep their eyes on you serving every wishes you desire. If you want to see why others do not get 5 star, then come here and learn from them. Good job and we are thankful for the things you made for us ;)

All the Landscaping was in the immediate area was breathtaking. It had a sensible menu and adequate staff to provide good service. It's next door to the sanatorium. Also, it was a religious holiday weekend and it was filled with locals enjoying their time off.

Couple of years ago family of the original owners of Szczawnica reacquired the town and is slowly recovering it to its former glory. Helenka is one of the places that were recently re-established. This is a nice place with great desserts, prime coffee and delicious French quisine. It offers both seats outside and inside, although during summer months the former is very crowded. Pricing is average or a little above average but it is really worth spending time and money there.

We had excellent lemonade and ice cream on the delightful terrace overlooking the small main square of this beautiful small 19th century spa town. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.
