It is high, so you will have to climb a lot of steps. It's picturesque, so be sure to come prepared for photography. Those who will visit the cave for the first time, Belianska Jaskyna will surely impress by the unique stalactites, stalagmites, small lakes and the stories that unite them all. At the same time, keep in mind that from the parking lot you will have to climb the mountain for another 20-30 minutes to reach the entrance to the cave.

Nice cave to visit.
You go about 20 minutes from the parking area, up the hill..
It’s pretty cold inside the cave, so you should bring warm clothing.
The tour is about 70 minutes.
Make note you can pay only in cash to buy tickets to the cave…

We were in the cave for up to an hour. It's quite cool there so you need to dress warmer than outside, plus it's humid and slippery, so it's advisable to have hiking boots or non-slip soles (like basketball sneakers). The soles of my shoes were rubber, so I almost fell several times (it's good that there were hand supports that I managed to hold on to). There are a lot of stairs inside, you have to constantly climb up and down, so you need to have more or less healthy knees to overcome it all. One section is the bed of a dried-up waterfall, so you can't go there during a downpour to avoid being washed away by the water. I liked the guide who tells about each corner of the cave. One space with great acoustics had symphonic music on and it was amazing! Thank you!

I liked it very much! But you need to be aware of some things:
You need to go up to the mountain for 30 min, and there are a lot of steps in the caves up and down. You come in and come out at the same entrance, so after caves you need to go down to the parking spot.

The bathroom is free, but for tickets or souvenirs, you can pay just in cash.
If you want to take photos in caves- it's 10€.

Beautiful cave, warmly recommended to visit. Unfortunately the tour is in Slovak, so we did not understand a word. Still, it is beautiful.

Wish they played English explanations also instead of only Slovak and Polish
The music dome is an awesome experience.

Some fitness is a must - the initial climb is non trivial, and even inside there are about 870 steps to climb.
Our guide Peter had already done multiple rescues from this innocuous looking hike/attraction.

It is best cave which I ever visited. You have to walk cca 1km (25mins) uphill but it is definitely worth it. Just be ready that when you reach cave entrance you are just in the middle.

About 850 metres (25 min uphill) to reach the entrance from the car park. We waited in a queue for about 30 minutes (9:30 am) to buy the tickets, during the high season the entrance is every 15 minutes in groups of approx. 60 people. When we left the cave, there was already an enormous queue by the ticket office, and the waiting time must have been around 2 hours, if not more.

There are some 700 steps inside of the cave, and the sightseeing lasts about 70 minutes. It is about 5 degrees Celsjus inside, so ensure to wear some warm clothes. There are 6 points (clearly numbered) where the tour inside the cave stops for explaination from the guide. The tour is in Slovak, but the recordings in Polish are played at each stop. The guide also asks (in English) if there is anybody who doesn't speak any of the languages, and is open to providing commentary also in English.

The entrance can be paid in Euro or in PLN, however in cash only. It is not allowed to take photos inside of the cave, unless you pay 10 Euro (either by the entrance or directly to the guide). After you pay, you receive a yellow sticker (with the hour of the tour) that you should wear all the time to take photos. Our guide was not restrictive about this, though. I don't regret buying this permission, because the views inside the cave are worth it.

Interesting cave. If there's bigger group from a country they can play track in your language. A lots of place for imagination.
You have to pay for making photos

We have visited Belianska Cave on Friday Afternoon it was an amazing day out with family and we couldn't ask for a better weather to be with us that day.

Its and amazing place to visit if you are close by the area and like to be adventurous and up for a challenge to make it to the cave itself.
It takes almost 30 minutes to get to the entrance, but it's all worth it.

Only downfall of this place is that there is an extra charge per person if you would like to photograph parts of cave from inside , which I find a little odd ... but never came across to pay to take a photograph of nature , I guess that's how business work for them.

Lovely cave, money well spent. The tour takes 70 minutes and you get to see a lot. I really liked the 'concert hall' at the end, with the music. Lovely vibe. It's cold inside (5C) and you need to wear suitable footwear (hiking boots or sport shoes), it gets muddy and wet at times. A tight squeeze for tall people but doable. Entry: 8€ for adults, 4€ child or 7€ for students. Photo pass is 10€ (you are not allowed to take any photos unless you pay for this silly orange sticker).

Beware of expensive parking below Belianska cave. It takes 20 minutes to walk to entrance but it is very steep walk. Entry fee was €8 for adults half price for kids. €10 for permit to take pictures inside. It took us roughly 70 minutes to walk 1.4km and 860 steps. Absolutely stunning place. Third largest cave in Slovakia and the only one open in High Tatras. There is a gift shop and toilets next to entrance. Toilets were clean and fridge magnet costs around 2 euros.

Great place on rainy day! We always take our private groups and trips to Belianska cave on bad weather. It is also opened in winter time, which is great! Tour inside is for minimum 1 hour, great tp know before visit? you need to walk steep uphill to the entrance for about 20 minutes!

Beautiful cave. Stunning features. One thing to be aware of for people with restricted mobility is that you go fairly steeply up and then steeply down (874 steps in total) so some people may benefit from walking poles (there are railings). Particularly, as you have to walk about 1km up a hill from the car park before you get to the cave.

Around 1 km walk in the cave with around 800 steps to climb. Some impressive sights to see and things to experiece.
Guide talked in English and we got an English brochure as well. If you want to take pictures it costs extra 10€.
