Hotel Bachledka Strachan

This is a great hotel, you suggest you o include it in your Slovakia trip list.
It’s like a cozy wooden castle with attention to details: for instance, the spiral staircase “wraps” trunk of the tree. It gives a feeling that your room is located on one of the branches. I also loved their restaurant area: gorgeous ceiling and lots of windows to enjoy the view.
Breakfast was reach and delicious. Dinner: I usually don’t like hotel food and prefer restaurants, but their chef knows what he/she is doing. I attached a picture with their dessert and- check it and you will understand what I am talking about.
Rooms: the simplest rooms are small, but cozy. I liked artificial fireplace and the wooden ceiling.
Spa: you find different saunas, jacuzzi, swimming pool, fruits and tea selection. It promises great experience, but since everyone want it Spa gets very busy. If you want to enjoy it come here during weekdays or offseason.
The only downside for me: when hotel is busy, reception becomes a bit chaotic, it feels like one more desk is needed.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bachledka Strakan during a business trip in the High Tatras. The hotel boasts a stunning view, and the rooms are not only clean but also tastefully decorated and well-maintained. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. The culinary experience exceeded expectations, offering a high standard of food, including delicious Slovak traditional dishes. I highly recommend a visit to experience it for yourself.

Fairytale stay in a dreamy location. Lovely staff, delicious food and the rooms are beautiful. The snow was a lovely bonus.

I have never feel the same. My son afraid from the lift. We go to this place and drink a coffee and a ice tea. The staff give me such an attitude what I never forget!!! I appreciate it! Thx!!!

Me and my friend we stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we enjoyed it to the fullest. The food is exceptional but most importantly the staff is amazing. Very helpful and welcoming. Hotel rooms had everything we needed. Wellness area was clean and there were plenty of saunas to choose from.

Beautiful hotel, amazing meals, friendly and cosy atmosphere, huge plus is pet friendliness.
Loved the spa and its cleanliness. Definitely recommend to try blueberry Strachan liquor.
We’ll be back hopefully soon.

Amazing resort with comfortable rooms, breathtaking views and incredible relaxing spa. We enjoyed hiking in the area, the bountiful buffet breakfast and relaxing in the spa. We can not wait to come back to this area and Hotel Bachledka Strachan.

Never been to such a nice spa… the attention to detail all around is incredible and it’s super clean

Except one cheeky waitress in the dining part who also billed us for the dinner even though we had it pre paid, this place is awesome, great wellness, next to ski cable, live folk music every Friday during dinner, rooms relatively quiet, friendly staff (most of them)

That was THE BEST Stay and service EVER! I love this hotel and whole “hotel family”! Thank you so much for remembering us that we are still loving people and we can have fun no matter what… I can’t wait to visit you again! ❤

A very beautiful and cosy place to stay at, the staff is super helpful and nice and the food is delicious. I can only recommend it, I'm sure we'll come back next time we're in the Tatras. I recommend to take a room with a balcony towards the Belianske Tatry mountains. The view is spectacular. We've had a great time here.

To be honest can't say a word, our stay was awesome. First class of hospitality, and great combination of modernism & goral heritage.

This Hotel is home away from home. absolutely the bast hotel in the area, very nice, very friendly staff, quite area perfect for relaxing. I was sad to leave.

Very good restaurant, hotel 10 metres from Bachledka Ski&Sun Lower station.

Great accomodation and will become even better as a massive reconstruction is about to start (in April 2019).
