Very romantic place for couples. The price of the room is great considering you have wellness and breakfast included. Be aware that this place does not cook a la carte, it is only focused on the fine dining dinners. You have to book up front.

The food was incredible, a really special experience, we got to taste many new ingredients and creative flavor combinations (eg beetroot sorbet, pickeld pumpkin or goat meat). Lots of colors, lots of veggies. The menu was very seasonal. Loved their bread. We spent 3,5 hours there, we had a wonderful time, the vibes are quite relaxed. We chose the natural wines pairing - all Slovak wineries and really nice wines. Everything looked beautiful, the photos speak for themselves. Excellent service, staff are very friendly and knowledgable.

Two minor things that we did not like:
- the decor
- they charged us 6eur for a bootle of tap water that we did not order

Place you cannot miss. The approach of the staff is extraordinary, starting with the waiters up to the chefs, whom you meet with each course brought to your table. Its a quite place very cozy adjusted to local history. All ingredients are home made and sourced locally. Best place we've ever visited, this is not only for Slovakia its our general opinion. We had the 3 hours menu and the wine pairing with it. Delicious i think the best is to try for yourselves. Do not forget to book well in advance. Thanks

Thank you for the lovely evening. It was a three-hour journey through the country's culinary arts. The food was fantastic and really creative. Super friendly advice from the service. Each course is brought to the table personally by the chef. Everything tasted great. Nice ambience and first class quality. I can only recommend everyone to eat here. Hopefully we'll visit again in the future. I am really looking forward to it.

If you are looking for an interesting romantic dinner, this is the place. The restaurant is a repurposed flour mill that has had an artist's retouch so there is no end to interesting things to draw your eye . The staff were really friendly and professional from the moment we stepped into the restaurant until the moment we left. The beautifully presented food was delicious, and used a really wide variety of unusual ingredients ( smoked ox heart, lovage, hay, smoked sturgeon etc) I would not hesitate to come here again.

For me this is the best experience for fine dinning in Slovakia. Mill has its own atmosphere. Stuff is very pleasant. The cooks are coming to describe each dish served. They also provide information from where they have ingredients (local and seasonal) and I can say that those providers are only of those high quality ones. They suprise us every time with dishes served. At the time of writing this review you could choose between 5 or 9 courses menu. I would recommend the second option. We had hard time to pick one course out of 9 which we liked the most - the menu is very well balanced. If you like wine then definitely pick also wine-pairing to these courses.

Great experience, amazing food and ambiance, we tried the 5 dish menu and we'll come back next year for sure for the 9 dish menu, certainly a plan to make it an annual event at our visit to the family in Poprad. Weak point maybe the parking, even among the first to arrived we weren't sure where to park and answer looking at others when we left is basically wherever you can find a spot not disturbing other cars, even on the grass. There are electric car chargers but these are also for parking of non-electric cars so be there very early if you would want a spot...
Came back few month later, no change... Still on the 5 courses menu that's is served in 7 separate servings + small cookies at very start and very end (so not sure why it's a 5 courses, but the result is even better)

One of the best fine dinning experience in Slovakia. For those who are looking for something different but in the same time traditionaly, this is the place you should visit.

Perfect restaurant near Poprad. We manage finally to get there and we were really pleasantly surprised. Fantastic nine course dinner and very fast service. It was one of our best degustation ever. Impeccable food, without a doubt on par with Michelin starred restaurants. The first bread to overcome Vienese Öfferl imo. Great service.

Nitpicking:
Not exactly comfortable chairs for 3.5h session.
No follow up water service after they bring a bottle.
Incoherent amenities, proper hand towels in the restroom, steamed and parfumed hand towels at the table, but no table cloth.
You certainly seem to provide a consistent service, so just charge it or some cover fee automatically. I'd very much welcome not having to do the tip guessing.

Very nice food. Pleasant service and chef. I have to admit their wine selection of slovak wines was excelent. I have learnt about Slovak wine producers. Now I feel quite ashamed that that didn't know them. Respect to THE chefs and their experiences and willingnes to come back to Slovakia from abroad.

Extreme experience. Best food ever. Very kind chef and waiter. Rooms are also very pleasand, spacios and clean. Yes it is expensive but you will get value for your money.

If you are arround go there for dinner - but keep it in mind that you have to order in advance. On our visit chef prepared menu based on our restrictions (like no garlic and no onion) and it was delicious. Cant wait for next visit.

I can’t believe a place like that exists in such a remote location. When you come to the Tatras, you will probably dine at one of the restaurants around Lomnica or at the Kempinsky, but you would be missing out if you did not pay Gasperov Mlyn a Visit!
Run by a chef who used to be at such fine dining restaurants, but decided to open this gem of a place at a cute former mill turned pension.
The menu adapts to seasonal ingredients and the quality is fine dining at a portion of the price!
Chef Josef was a great host attending to our needs and introducing each dish as it came out of the kitchen. Best in show: smoked Brynza and the onion soup. ( dined there two years ago)
Reservation is mandatory.

This is just amazing place. From unbelievable great service to even better food. Accomodation was super too. This place, people, food, will stay in my memory forever.
