Lived up to the hype, we had a very good steak (best in Zakopane in terms of meat's quality and preparation), a very tasty pork cutlet served on a wooden tray. Desserts were also very good. Service was quick & friendly. There was a band playing Polish highlanders folk music - and they did it very well.

Be aware that the place is relatively small and very popular because of its quality, so reserving your spot in advance is a must. We were very lucky to find places as we arrived, people who came just after us waited for 45 mins to get seated.

Everything was perfect, just the desert could be better.
The service was efficient and done with great sympathy from the waiter.
The atmosphere feels great, wooden tables like picnic tables outside and cozy on the inside. The restaurant itself looks amazing in the traditional polish wooden style of the region, and is greatly decorated.
The beer I ordered was amazing. The fish filet was really tasty as well and served with really well cooked potatoes.
For dessert, I ordered the blueberry with vanilla ice cream, I don't recommend this choice. It was not relevant to me, it tasted super standard and had nothing special. Probably should have ordered a starter or a soup instead.

This is really the best place. We have been here 2 times in 2 days and this is what we ate: salad with brynza, soup with forest mushrooms (the best in our life), beef steak on a stone, mountain trout, boiled potatoes, French fries, pork chop and drinks. I definitely recommend to visit!

Even though it was crowded, we were still welcome to come in and dine. The inside is beautifully decorsted and there was a musical assemble playing. The vibe was on point. The food was very well made and also very VERY abundand. I had the Zurek and a deer stew and even though both were amazing, quantity wise they were too much for me to handle.
You will not leave this place with even a slither of hunger left.

I think it's the best restaurant in Zakopane. The traditional food is excellent and the service was amazing. This is a must visit place. I highly recommend making a reservation after 19:00 when the traditional band starts playing.

The second location of Bakowo Zohylina restaurant. A little bit further so you have the chance to get a table.
Very rustic, excellent positioned (25-30 meters from the main road). You feel that you’re in another time.
The interior is awesome, the table, the decorations, the staff clothes.
Same good food, more local beers, good prices, nice staff.

The food was fantastic. The walk to the restaurant was super cool, with gravel paths and an arch. We ate inside and the whole mood was very cool. The tables were textured and added to the experience. The service was also good. The deer stew was absolutely phenomenal, highly recommend.

Great facility! Very tasty food and cool atmosphere! I sincerely recommend soup - goulash, and venison, because there is the tastiest mushroom sauce I've ever had 🤤

A must visit if in Zakopane. Very authentic and intresting place with amazing polish art and curios everywhere. Service really fast and efficient. Great food. Reasonable price for location.

My favorite place in Zakopane forever! We’ve been three times out of five days we spent in Zakopane! Gorgeous place with lovely staff and delicious food! Very unique place! Will highly recommend!

Authentic traditional Góralskie food, drinks, music, and decor. Fantastic service, english available. Outdoor dining available with good weather. I had the ribs and rice 🤤🤤🤤 Musicians playing fidel, bass and singing traditional mountain song, are very talented and enjoyable to listen to. Really interesting building and historical artifacts, as well as unique wooden tables and seating. A very memorable night!

We came here after not finding a table at their original restaurant. They recommended us to try our luck at this place (their second restaurant) instead, and we're glad we did.

The whole place has this highlandic vibe to it. It felt like a fairly tale on a snowy night.

The food was very delicious and the service was also good. My favorite being the dumplings with potato & cheese filing. Unfortunately, it didn't have many vegetarian options. It's also not very expensive as compared to other European cities.

I would definitely recommend treating yourself to this Polish restaurant if you're visiting Zakopane.

The place is very interesting, authentic mountain chalet feeling, stuff quick and friendly, small corner for kids, live music. Food was good, oscypek the fried smoked sheep cheese was fantastic, pierogi and kwasnica were great but the mix of meats was not great especially the black pudding was awful. All in all we had good time and prices are good.

Great place and very tasty food. But impossible to get table, make reservation! Live traditional music and great experience. During pandemic it was possible delivery or take away.

Absolutely perfect place to taste Polish cuisine and traditional highlander atmosphere. All food was great, but pork ribs and deer stew were next level delicious.
