Fantastic place for dinner. Atmosphere amazing, food supeeeeerb and service very good. But I would recommend to book in advance to get a better table. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Zakopane.

We visited Karczma Przy Młynie off-peak (mid October 2023), and so the restaurant was very quite.

The exterior is a mountain type wooden log construction, which looks beautiful and the interior was just as impressive.

The menu consists of mostly traditional Polish and local dishes. They also had menus in English.

We waited about 20 minutes for our order and it was well worth the wait. The food was delicious, wholesome and very filling.

The waitress was lovely, courteous and attentive.

The pricing was very fair especially for a holiday town.

We arrived almost at closing time but the waiter was very kind and allowed us eat, the food is delicious!!

Although the cheesecake was a bit different maybe it’s their way of doing it.

Anyways it’s must try!!

The best restaurant we have been to in Zakopane. There is live music, amazing service and great food. We were 8 so we have tried many different dishes and everything was delicious. The pancakes were outstanding, pirogi, lamb chops and beef sirloin were very tasty too. I can definitely recommend this place! 👏👏👏

Our dinner meals were just okay, nothing special.

Atmosphere was great with the workers costumes, music, and dancing.

Definitely recommend for someone visiting town.

Every time I'm in Zakopane, I come here for dinner. The dishes are delicious, mostly Polish and highlander cuisine. Pork chop simply poetry, the mizeria in the salad bar is sensational, highlander's potato pancake is easily a given dish for two people and also delicious, potato pancakes with mushrooms - great. On top of that, the interior is well decorated and a small but nevertheless parking lot for guests. Highly recommended!

I cannot understand why this restaurant doesn't have 5 star reviews all over. It was a wonderful dining experience with very tasty food, generous portions, impeccable service and a very lively atmosphere with a live band. Hands down one of the very best restaurants in Zakopane. Wild Mushroom soup and Goulash were delicious, bean and mushroom pierogi very tasty, BBQ ribs very good, smoked trout super, side dishes very generous portions. We highly recommend this place. Well done and thank you for a wonderful fin Ng experience.

If you want to try regional food in Zakopane - you gotta eat here. Great quality and taste of every dish. Lamb chopsticks we're melting in your mouth. The salad bar is great with fresh ingredients. Pierogi phenomenal. On top of it all the ambiance and atmosphere is just the way it should be. Beautiful interior and exterior with well thought out details - lots of great decor and accents that make you wanna stay there for longer and enjoy the coziness.

Great food at an affordable price. Gluten free options available. You can listen to traditional music while enjoying good food. We tried soups, local meat and fish dishes, all cooked very well. The atmosphere and the building are great, nice outside too where there is an old mill. Parking available nearby (free)

Delicious food and reasonable price. Both dumplings and fried pork are soooo good! There are also people playing music, which is for free. (In some restaurants you need to pay for the music)
