Košice Zoo

Nice zoo. Not the best in EU but a fun day out. There was a queue for the tickets when we were leaving at 1PM

It's amazing place. 😊 The environment is absolutely huge and georgeos, all of the animals truly happy here. There are limited parking places, so when it's busy you need to park near the road approx 1 km far from the entrance, but in nice weather this is just a pleasure walking. You can buy an adult ticket for 10€ / £8 (includong the Dino Park also), so it's a bargain price nowadays. All it all, we're 100% satishfied with everythig, definitely we'll get back soon! 😎

Good zoo. Very big territory, where you will spent around 2 hours or more. Maybe not very high variety of animals, but their enclosures are big, well-organized and close to natural. There is a time-table of feeding of animals, so you can enjoy watching the process.
You can fing several fast-food cafes at the territory of the zoo.
On holidays the zoo is overcrowded by local people.

Parking is in front of the entrance, it was 2 euros for a day. Entrance tickets can be paid by card. There were several coffee and snack automats, and buffets with hot meal, draft beer and Kofola. At most of them, you can pay by card as well.

Great zoo! The territory is huge and there are a lot of different animals. I wasn't expecting this zoo to be this good. 5⭐! It's 100% worth visiting. ( fences at the aviary are shocked, so watch out )

This Zoo is sooo much fun to go to. There are a lot of animal species and a lot of cafes. Next to it it’s DinoPark. There is a 3d cinema there (the movie lasts for like 12 minutes). Soo much fun!

I was sceptical to visit the zoo as didn't want to see distressed animals as I'm not convinced the whole caged animals is a good idea! I was pleased to see very well kept and cared for animals all with large in closures. Very polite staff, plenty of places to get refreshments and not forgetting the dinoworld for the younger kids upto 8 years old. Good value for a good day out.

Seems to be bigger then I remember 😃. Anyway, it is a nice place to visit especially with kids. 5€ entry fee, free toilets and few places to get some refreshments.👍 And free car park.

Parking 3EUR. 3-5 min walking distance to main entry gate where you also buy the ticket. Common entrance for zoo and dino park. We paid 10EUR/adult for dino park but to get to dino park you walk through the whole zoo park. Very well planned, it stretches across many ha and offers a proper space for some animals. You keep walking like theough a park on aleys, sometimes concrete sometimes cubic stone pavement. Friendly with strollers.

Really good zoo. Located about 10-15 mins drive from Kosice. Only 5e to get in (winter prices) great exhibits and loads of space on a lot of the animals areas. Highlights were the brown bears. Worth a visit for sure.

Very nice and well maintained ZOO, live feeding of animals, kids loved the Dino Park, lot of stalls with food. We were able to spend there 6 hours without getting bored...great for family day out :))))

Always nice and clean, if you are looking forward to spend some nice time this is the exactly the place, not very big but for half day it's quit enough

The animals are all lively today (the leopard was quite angry, though), so my kids and I had a lovely time. Lots of things to do and play with within the premises. I recommend you bring your kids' bikes as there are lots of smooth asphalt tracks all over the place. Highly recommended!

It was the greatest place (zoo), because price is very cheap, till 3,5€ and for students ~2 €. I hate zoo, but it is really good place for animals because some animals walk in the zoo and it is normal))) good show with fur seals))) and if u want u can touch lama, poni and zebra, it was wonderful!!! I would like to return)

Zoo was much bigger and nicer than expected. We spent several hours and didn’t actually see all the animals/exhibits. It was a super nice trip and I’d love to go again.

Wonderful zoo with many interesting animals to see. Very interactive and friendly staff. Zoo is huge so earmark a few hours at the very least. Very worthwhile to visit

Come early as parking may be a challece in to narrow parking slots. Low priced snacks available and you can bring your own as well.
