Food was delicious and soooo much of it you won’t go hungry. Atmosphere was great they had a traditional band playing and people dancing. Was such a fun night the beer was also very tasty.

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurant in Zakopane for a reason. Has a very large space and ambiance is super cozy. There is a dance floor and lot of table to sit and all in one area. Has a bar on the other side. Music was obviously a bit louder (we wanted a peaceful dinner)
Dishes are tasty and served quickly. They have their own beers and lot of them.
If you are in Zakopane, you must visit this
Accessible by wheelchair, limited parking in near by Areas. Almost at the centre of the city (small city)

Great place for a beer and meal! We went for a few beers in the afternoon and decided to come back for more as well as food! We had the pork knuckle and soup in bread. The food was excellent, huge portions too that we couldn’t finish! The home brewed beer was great, and the service was faultless.

Worth experiencing! Checking through some of the low reviews here, you need to approach this place with a mindset of coming to a bierhalle. The waiters will be running around and you need to proactively request their attention to get their service timely. If you are in this mode, you will be very satisfied with their time to delivery and attention to details. It was fun and will definitely visit again.

Came here late one evening after being at a few other karczmy.
Great for a dance with a live Gorlaska Kapela (band) playing for everyone. Great choice of food with fresh tasty soups on offer. Lovely atmosphere made better with a bottle of Vodka on the table.
Would definitely go here again!

I don't know whats about recent bad comments, maybe people are too much spoiled by big cities but I'm coming to Zakopane 2 years in a row and been in this place for like 5-7 times and all the time everything was very nice. That ,,Miodowe,, (honey beer) personaly is the best beer I've ever had and I tasted a lot in lots of countries. Food is great, took only mostly local dishes potato pancaces, dumplings, meat plates, pork knuckle, some sausages, apple pie and tiramisu. All was very nice. This is first place where I would want to go and take a beer and eat in Zakopane

Great food, great service, great atmosphere with live music. Only downside is that they don't allow some time between starter and main course, as dishes are abundant. However, I highly recommend it!! Perfect for meat lovers!

This place is lots of fun with dancing. There is a small quiet bar on one end of the place. They make their own beer. I like the Hesse. Do NOT order their white wine. It arrives with a yellow color and it is not possible to drink.

My favourite restaurant in Zakopane. Food is always fresh and the portions are huge. If you want to go with your friends to listen local live band, eat and drink that’s the place for you lads.
Recommending to everybody. They are also doing craft beers in that place so highest rate :)

A big thank to all the staff at Watra Restaurant. My friend lost her cell phone here during dinner. She only found out after returning home to Slovakia. After a short phone call, her mobile phone arrived in Slovakia by post within 3 days. Thanks again for the great approach. We will definitely be happy to visit you again.
