Autocamping Podlesok

I don't like many campsites but this one was very nice. We found a quiet spot at the far end away from reception and although there was the noise of people having fun (which is nice), it went quiet around 10pm. Perfect location to access the park and plethora of fabulous walks. We are self sufficient and don't need facilities but there were queues at busy times and it seemed there were not enough basins & cubicles for the size of the site.
Good value at e17 (2 people & big camper with no electric).

All in all a great place to stay. Tent, camper or house - it’s perfect. You start right at the camp hiking trips or bike (MTB) tours. Everything is clean and working. Laundry service is offered.

Excellent camping spot, right at the start of beautiful trails in Slovensky Ray. Not too crowded at all when we were there (mid August). Friendly staff, quiet people, good atmosphere, clean facilities and comfortable grass to pitch your tent. One hint: do the Suchà Bela trail by starting before 8am or earlier. Excellent trail and by that time almost no people. It's just next to the campsite. Highly recommend this place!

If you don't mind more people walking around (sometimes singing longer into the night), its perfect place to spend few nights while you hike around neighbouring hiking trails. From camping under the tent up (your own off course) to quite comfortable cottage, all is possible.

So long as you manage your expectations, you will be very happy here. It's in an amazing location, right at the start of 2 breathtaking valley walks (Sucha Bella & Prielom Hornadu), so no need to drive, ride or hitchhike to the start - it's beside the front gate.
There showers are good and warm, but you do have to buy tokens to use them (50c for 3 mins) - stopping the shower pauses the timer, so you can easily use just one token for a good shower.
Also, all of the washing up facilities only have cold water.
But the staff are nice, the site is beautiful, and there's loads of space if you want to avoid other people ;)

One of the bests camping site in Slovakia. Good grass, clean toilets and showers. Worths for money. Good location, close to start points of Suchá Belá and Prielom Hornádu. Staff were kind. Credit card was accepted. Easy to find free place for your tent.

Amazing camping. Big with plenty of space (not as busy as it looks on the picture, there's more space before and behind), very friendly and helpful staff, and good facilities. Perfect to start off the amazing Sucha Bella walk

Where on earth do you have a camping with a beer / soda automate? Look no further my friends; this camping has it! Such a good idea!! Every camping should have one ;-)

Oh, this place is superb!!! I really recommend it for everyone.
Beautiful, clean and friendly place. Also most beautiful tracks start from nearby this place. And when you get back you can grab beer, snacks, tea or coffee for very good price

Great location, helpfull staff. Okay toilet facilities.

Huge camping site. Free parking for car. You can camp near beautiful lagoon with mountain view. Several boat trips are also available to buy.

pretty awesome camping, mostly with really convenient utilities. all the hiking trails are nearby, and you can reach even more with a little bit of driving.

Camping Podlesok is a lovely place. If you prepher sleep in bed they have several small huts which are like appartmans in hotels.

Huge camping, well cared for, clean sanitary facilities, small grocery store on the site, couple of restaurants and of course in the middle of the beautiful nature :) prices are great too ;)

One of the best places in podlesok. Insane views. Internet could be better, in javorina number 10 there is no wifi but its not a problem

Really nice campsite. Great location close to national park. We spend a couple of nights there and enjoyed hiking the gorges a lot.

Great place to stay. Fair price , English speaking staff and a lot of things to do and see close to the campsite.

Nice, clean autocamping. Not so far from High Tatras and right besides Slovak Paradise.

Well organized, big and at the center of the national park. Loved it.
