Beautiful monastery that was founded in 14th century. Around the monastery float the Dunajec river on which you can ride with rafts or boats. The parking is also only few minutes from the main gate (6€ per day)

Beautiful monstery! Really enjoyed the visit, the personnel was super friendly. Dogs aren't allowed, but the lady seeing tickets agreed with watching our puppy while we were touring the monastery

An very interesting monastyr. There is a museum, church and picturesque yard with fabulous views on summit Trzy Korony on Polish side of border.
Ticket 3 euros per person (staff speak English and Polish).
This place is easily reached by walking or cycling from car parking in Sromowce Niżne in 15 minutes.
There is a small bar, souvenirs shop (they accept Polish currency)and free toilet.

Great museum of the monestaries history, if you ask, they will give you a pamphlet in English that guides you through each room. The monestary is well preserved and the chapel is amazing.

It is such a beautiful place that we visited at that day. We enjoyed the eight kilometers rafting activity and the sight seeing in the river and the mountains. I highly recommend this journey and this rafting activities to you all. While going back you need to take a taxi or a bus. Still you can pay more and get your private car to enjoy the nice green view at the both sides of the road.

A bit scary and terrifying but I think it's the "must see" place in this area.

The price is rather reasonable and the place deserves being seen.
I was little surprised when I saw exhibits secured only by a piece of rope. It is no barrier for nasty tourists (unfortunately, they still happens to exist), for noone, so that it is possible to touch them. It proofs the trust laid in people.
What amazed me even more is that those exhibits remained distinctly untouched. It gives some hope that people do not have to destroy everything (what, sadly, happens to a lot of historical treasures).
