Zlatá Putňa - Restaurant & Pension

An ideal place that is a must visit. Great deals in a really great restaurant, cheap and incredibly tasty. The staff is very friendly, special thanks to the manager for an interesting tour of the wine cellar, which is also a tasting room. Cozy rooms, beautiful nature around, and most importantly - a good price. I highly recommend visiting.

Great restaurant, a blend between Hungarian and Slovakian cuisine. Friendly personnel, even got a menu with English translation. Delicious food! Parking is sufficient (vis-a-vis to the restaurant)

We stopped by for lunch, which was absolutely delicious especially at the price point it was. We had the sous vide duck, and the stew with knedli, both were great. The desert of the day was a Somlói which was very well made as well. Only small downside was that a light was flickering at some points intermittently, in the middle of the restaurant, which they didn’t seem to be able to fix, but thankfully wasn’t an issue at all for us.

The room was well-equipped (large shower, a kettle, a lot of place for items, toiletries provided). The food was exceptionally good - there was a good selection of well-prepared meals. Good breakfast with many options and delicious pastry. I appreciate the selection of tea. The staff was attentive, prepared to assist even for special requests. Our stay here was perfect and it looks like the owners take the effort to provide a perfect service, thinking even about the details.

The rooms themselves have some wear and tear, little bit more effort could be given to the abundance of breakfast and making sure it stays warm. But other than that, and despite that, they do deserve a 5 star review. The staff is very nice and attentive, the guided wine tasting is superb both in the wines themselves and the delivery of explanation. Overall, amazing experience. Worth visiting for sure.

Came here unplanned because we were tired and needed to stop. Found this place on google maps. At first we tried walking inside but the light was out but the door was open. We decided to call and thankfully who answered knew russian. Staff was very nice, normal comfortable rooms, pretty nice food. For a place that's not in a big city and close to the border, it's very good.

For sure the best meals I ate in this area are here. Warm host and great vines with nice selection of food. Rooms are nothing special but great size and perfect WI FI, well done bathroom with amenities. If you are around, you won't make a mistake of you come to sleep here or only to eat.

Very nice family running restaurant with local food and exceptional wine from Tokaj region of Slovak part. Providing local guided tours with strong emphasy on regional issues.

I highly recommend this lovely place. Nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner near the fire place but you can choose also underground wine cellar or on the terrace in summer.

Esther was a very professional staff. Great food with very nice wine. We visited both cellars in the restaurant and the old one nearby, and it was a great experience.
