Camping Studenec

We arrived with a group here. Enough place for everyone. The owner is a really friendly guy. We had some problems with our car and he fixed everything! I recommend everyone to stay here if you visit the area! Showers and toilets are very clean! Top place!

Best camping owner of Slovakia!

He helped us multiple times when our minibus broke down, even when he did not had to. He is very friendly and helpfull and knows a lot about the the local highlights in the area. His English is also very good, which is a rare quality in Slovakia in our experience. The sanitary provisions are also clean! Overall I would definitely come back to this beautifull and cosy camping. Slovakia is a pearl that has yet to be discovered by the broader public, and this camping and its owner is a great illustration thereof!

Amazing camping with fantastic view, at five minutes walking from a idyllic little lake. Sanitair was more than clean and coffee and tea was 24/7 available. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED:)

Great place to camp with all the amenities you would need including free shower, portable fire pit and even an electric stove. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you are on car. If not, see below reviews :)

This was one of the most beautiful campings I have ever been to. The staff was extremely friendly and helped my group and I with everything. The lake was not even a 5 minute walk away and was very pretty! I would recommend this clean camping to everyone.

Very nice guy at reception. It was spatious, good for camping with tents and caravans. Toilets and showers were clean and refurbished very well.

The facilities are brand new and very clean. There is even a shared fridge, cooking station and microwave. Electricity included in the price. At the reception you can get a cold beer or some snacks.

Michael was a great host and very helpful. We loved it here!

Some advice if you are travelling by public transport: take the train to Stiavnica. From there take a bus to Studenec. The bus leaves only a couple of times a day but otherwise you can take a taxi (around 15 euro). Bus stops are not shown on Google maps and some route planners might tell you to go to Bansky Studenec train station. But that’s literally in middle of nowhere.

It's a small but very lovely and peacefull camping in Studenec. You have everything you need in very clean fashion, new bathrooms and showers and a kitchen for cooking. The place is new, made in 2018, and it shows. The staff is very nice, speaks fluent english and is helpful if you need something.
If you are visiting slovakia, need some rest and peace, this is a very good choice for you and your family.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend it for everyone else!

Very good camping spot! It's not big, but you have everything you need.
Very clean, tidy as well. It's a quite new camping spot, but very nice with a lake next to it and a lot of walking/hiking/cycling opportunities.
But the best at the camping was Michael. He was so helpful, he gave us tips what to do in the neighborhood, but as well in the High Tatra's and in general. We really enjoyed talking with Michael (not only for information) and glad we have met him.
He even brought his personal tea that was not available, and made coffee from his personal stuff when the coffee machine broke!

New, small and simple campsite with great and clean shower and toilets. The campsite is small, but has all you need. Owners are extremely nice and caring. It's far better than campsites with many more but outdated and dirty facilities we have seen around the country. Lake for swimming is close by.

Super nice camping and when our bus broke down the owner helped is out more than our insurance! WE LOVE HIM!!!

The place is clean, has a lot of extra facilities ( fridge, stove, water cooker) and is located in woodlands. Watch out and don't take the small forest road. It will distroy the underside of your car!!!

Lovely little camping with great facilities. Brand new with an enthousiastic owner and his family. Small, with a view of another village at night. Must visit if you're in the area. Nice change from the grumpy and worn out owners in the country so far.

Nice place, friendly owner. Free electricity and showers. There is a stove and a fridge available for free.

Small campside, clean toilets with free shower, cooking, microwave, fridge and electricity. You can buy beer when paying for camping. Friendly camp keepers. Please use yellow bin for plastic only and smash the pet bottles.
