I definitely recommend the pork ribs :)

Nice stylish traditional interior, quick and attentive service. Tried roasted mutton and halusky and food was delicious. You can also buy selection of cheese, butter or sheep mil products. My favorite traditional slovak food restaurant.

Today i ate lunch with my friends here and the moment we stepped in we were amazed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very cozy, warm and homelike place. We were talking about we could spend the entire day here. In addition the food we got were 10/10, the soups, the teas, the main courses, everything. The staff was also very friendly, kind and helpful. Thank you! Definitely a must-visit place!

I have never experienced such service in such a busy restaurant. The food was excellent. I also recommend it to vegans, as the cottage offers vegan "bryndzové gnocchi" made from cashew nuts 🌱 the portion was big enough for a reasonable price.

I am from Slovakia, and we just wanted to try Halušky ( typical slovak dish), I have to tell you, the vegan version they have here, tastes way better than original cheese. Waitresses are super nice! We arrived late, plenty of light inside! :) Atmoshpere also superb. Definitely recommending

We always make a stop here for lunch on the way further to Tatras or other parts. Always the same and we were never disappointed. “Drzkova” soup and traditinal “Bryndzove” dumplings with bacon are the essential you have to taste to grasp the traditional Slovak cuisine.

Everytime we are here dining we never regret stopping. Excellent food, very friendly staff. Also you can take free apple when leaving.
Today we ordered bryndzové halušky as always, I tried Fatranská sviečková na smotane and my sister had fried cheese. Halušky was great. Sviečková was little bit stiff and cheese was also great. Truly recommend.

Visited the place last time, it was a unique experience! The place has such a great and lovely traditional forest hut athmosphere, the food was tasty and the staff was very nice. The place serves vegetarian dishes as well, which was a delight.

If you're looking to try genuine Slovak home cooking, this the place to go! Delishous meals, great prices, and pleasant staff! Cannot but recommend if you drive by..

When it comes to choosing the best restaurant in Slovakia that offers traditional slovak dishes, it's definitely this one. The food is delicious, waiters are very nice and there is also a playground for kids. If you are driving by don't hesitate to visit.

Great restaurant on your way of travel through Tatras Mountains. We spent there around 2 hrs with a little child. There's a little playground near the restaurant, and the place if suitable for kids. The food is fresh, and tasty. Service is very kind, and helpful despite we were in time when it was very busy (we had to wait for the table). I strongly recommend this place, if you want to have nice refreshment during your journey, and good food.

Traditional slovak cuisine, service wears traditonal clothes, interior looks like from old wooden times. Service is quick, helpful and friendly. Food is really tasty and nerby the restaurant is also a shop with various cheeses. This restaurant keeps for years a really good level of quality.

Traditional food and atmosphere in the heart of Slovakia. Very cozy place, friendly staff and huge parking lot. Great place to take a break and eat if you're on the road.

Parking place is huge, you can pay by card, service is perfect and fast. Food is delicious.

It's nice restaurant to stop by when travelling to tatras or so , it's close to main road , right behind Banská Bystrica. They have some delicious traditional Slovak dishes. I personally tried dumplings with sheep cheese and sviečková(beef). U can see those two on the photos. They have tables inside and outside during the summer.

Delicious onion soup and paste with bryndza cheese. A band was playing mood music so it was a nice addition to our dinner.
