The New Evangelical Church
Church in an eclectical style with Byzantian, Romanesque, Renaissance, Moorish, and even Oriental elements.
A strict symmetry hides behind a red façade. In the church there are two pulpits situated against two rows of benches. The church was finished and consecrated in the year 1894.

Have to visit the place with great history. Highly recommend when you're in Kežmarok city.

You couldn't imagine the inner beauty looking at the temple from outside

I have never seen a church like this. Due to the restricted law it had to be built within a year and with the cheappest material possible. Originally it had no nails. It's all wooden, but the walls are white so it doesn't look like one.
It's a big, low temple devoided of towers. Its silhouette is quite untypical though it's interior is truly amazing - it's cover in outstanding paintings. Blue sky prevails there.
The entrance ticket permits you to visit also the new Evangelic Church. It costs 3 euros.
In both temples taking photos is forbidden.

Really, really important VERY LIMITED HOURS - it is only open Tuesdays and Fridays and only between 10-12 and then 14-16. I am giving it five stars because most people do but I missed it because I hadn't read carefully. Don't be me!

Both the UNESCO World Heritage Wooden Church as the new Red Church are interesting historically.

Kościół przyciąga wzrok już z daleka. Jego architektura łączy w sobie style z różnych epok i zakątków świata. W środku przykuwa wzrok niezwykła symetria wnętrza. Warto zobaczyć!
Wstęp jest płatny, a na tym samym bilecie można zwiedzić też stary ewangelicki kościół artykularny.

Pěkný kostel jak z vnějšku, tak i ze vnitř. Průvodkyně vám něco málo poví o historii zdejšího kostela a můžete se zde zakoupit i nějaké ty suvenýry...

Nádherný dřevěný kostel. Z vnějšku je omítnutý, ale nenechte se odradit a vstupte dovnitř. Vstupné 3€ na osobu rozhodně stojí za to!
Vnitřek kostela je úžasný a rozhodně si zaslouží být zařazený v seznamu památek UNESCO.
Kostel je stavěný bez použití hřebíků, se stavbou pomáhali severští stavitelé lidí - což je poznat i na "kulatých oknech" :-)

Zaujímavý zvonka a tiež aj vo vnútri. Výborný výklad.

Krásna stavba,vo vnútri je stavba prevedená symetrický tak,že pravá polovica sa zrkadlove podoba ľavej až tak,aj kazatelnice má dve,hoci tu kázne robí jeden kňaz,druhá je prázdna pičas bohoslužieb.Su tu krásne fresky a celková úprava v vnútornej časti kostola je odlišna od iných kostolov.V kostole je aj krypta Rakicyho,veĺa navštev tu chodí z Maďarskej republiky.

Veľmi dobré podaná prehliadka kostola.Oplatí sa navštíviť oba evanielické kostoly.
