Ensana Thermia Palace Health Spa Hotel

Everything was at very good level, as usual, except food in restaurant. I am coming to Thermia every year and I can say, several years ago, when new chief in restaurant from Greece was appointed, he drastically improved the food in restaurant. But as I understood, from summer 2023 he left and new chief was appointed. So I can say, that quality of food and its preparation again declined strongly. During 2 weeks stay maybe 2-3 times food was prepared at acceptable level, but for 2 weeks to have every day almost the same salad bar and not tasty main dish its quit difficult, taking into consideration that Thermia is 5 star hotel and must have same restaurant.
Management must strongly consider that matter as a priority.

Great overall experience once again beating all expectations. Fantastic service, facilities and location. Professional and very friendly staff throughout. Already looking forward to my next stay at Thermia Palace.

Absolutely spectacular hotel. Gorgeous art deco interior, historic building. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Champagne at arrival is a nice touch. Spa services offered are amazing and very reasonably priced. Not a whole lot of variety for food but everything available is delicious. Not too many people and it never feels busy or crowded. Perfect for relaxing. Would love to visit again in the summertime.

Stayed here few times in the past and often it’s above average so pleased about that. Service is very top level thanks god for the price you pay for it’s good to get a bit of luxury. Food had a very good quality and large enough range.

We heard a lot about the place from friends, and decided to try thermal water treatments for the first time. There is no doubt that the experience was very successful and we will return again and again.
But the treatments themselves, which were excellent, are only part of the great sense of pleasure we experienced at the hotel. An excellent level of service from the entire hotel staff, starting with the doorman and ending with the senior management. Everyone showed great interest and a prominent desire to understand our needs and provide them quickly, efficiently and punctually.
Excellent and meticulous room maintenance, starting with the daily change of bright sheets, to the small and delicious candy carefully placed on the pillow.
A clean and equipped dining room at the highest level. Efficiently managed kitchen and dining room staff. The food, which we learned to recognize with its unique flavors (with a healthy food orientation), was varied and very tasty.
More than we recommend the hotel, we have no doubt that we will return again and again and again….

We had the most wonderful time over Christmas and New year, enjoying most excellent care (the doctor was fantastic and she was of excellent assistance to my barely walking dad), therapy and wellness sessions, food was amazing as well as entertainment for the holiday season. We were looked after all the time. Staff were friendly and caring. It was the break my family needed. Will come again.

We had wonderful weekend stay here. Everything is just beautiful and calm, you can really relax and enjoy yourself here. Probably the best wellness on Slovakia, the thermal water is heaven and the saunas are really large.
All staff members were very nice and helpful. Live violin and piano music at dinner.
Very good food. You can order eggs to your liking and waffles and fresh juice for breakfast. Thumbs up for the vegan milks, breakfast and dinner buffets also had some vegan options.
The room was very comfy and it has a huge balcony. Large bed but it had two mattresses. Very spacious bathroom.

Went to the spa only and had a great time thanks to a great staff and good infrastructure. The overall experience was pleasant and authentic. The beautiful environment around the hotel, which is the largest “island” in Slovakia, works together great with the spa to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed at Thermia Palace with our two kids aged 7 and 9. We were warmly greeted by all of the staff who made sure that we had everything we needed for the kids. Our room was fabulous - a suite with a large double and a double sofa in the lounge area. While the kids aren't allowed to have spa treatments, they are allowed to use the indoor and outdoor pools. They even had their own mini robes so they didn't feel out of place. The beautiful art nouveau decor made us feel like we were stepping back in time - while the modern spa facilities added an extra luxurious touch. We loved our stay.

We have been guests several times. We are always pleased with the care and attitude of the staff we work with. For example Mr. Katz the manager, Maria, the maitre d’ in the dining room, Greg a head waiter, Juraj at the front desk are all first rate.

What to say. Just peace, peace, peace.
We stayed 2 nights there and it was just amazing.
Staff members are super nice, polite. If we did not know something they were helping.
Services are great some kind of expensive but well.
The food in the restaurant is super good. You have quite some choice.
(Be aware of the cakes they are horribly delicious).
In the bar, they make terrific cocktails, and the staff is super nice, polite.
The only problem is you can loose yourself a bit with all the corridors and doors.

Rooms with only bath and no shower have risk to old people with balance problems.

Recommended hotel and superior most modern new spa and pools.

Problems of service on weekends. Not clean.
Request for towels and blankets were not responded.
Service should be improved.

Food very good and healthy.

All together, recommended especially the spa.

Excellent relax, integration with SPA center IRMA, great services. There were several special events organized based on 111 anniversary of the hotel - it was very nice.

Hotel with amazing cuisine. Very peaceful area around, during evening you won't meet a lot of people. Spa area is also great. You can stay in hotel with your pets.
