This place is one of my favorite to visit in the summer or winter or any other time year round! Beautiful trees come wonderful walks to the castle ruins. The walks are pleasant and not difficult for families with kids. Bring friends. Make a pick nick. Have fun!

Just 50 min walk from the nearest village Borinka, is located this former strong fortress or castle Pajstun. There are still huge ruins of this monument. Good place to search history, or for watching stars, doing bbq or just relax within romantic ruins

Beautoful view, the trip up is exhausting but rewarding. There are no buffets or water sources up top, so be sure to pack everything necessary

I thought it is smaller. There are a pretty tall walls and facades. Be ready for a walk on a distance 2 km. Very butyfull view.

This is a ruin of the medieval castle with great views over surrounding areas of Little Carpathian hills. It is a good place for families with kids or elderly people to have a short weekend walk and have a fire set up at the top and roast something while having a good chill. Also it is a great place for rock climbing with walls no taller than 30m and there is plenty of route difficulties. It can be quite crowded during the weekends as it is just within a stone throw from the capital Bratislava.

Hard to find! Take either the red or yellow path and you should get there. The castles are total ruins, but the view is cool and they're free and not very touristy.

Nice walk, a bit more people after 12 oclock. Better to go there in the morning if you dont like crowdy forest walks

I would definitely recommend for families or couples or even individuals for a walk, it takes app. 1 hour of walk to climb up to the castle.

Great spring family walk. Wonderful weather and growing nature make us feel good in days of the virus. It is nice walking exercise, not to hard for children and easy for an adults.

A beautiful place with nice views of Male Karpaty region that offers a rest area with several fireplaces and stone and wooden benches, the easiest walk (even with 4 year old children - no strollers) to Pajstun is from Borinka Church-here you can park your car. Suitable also in hot weather, most of the hiking takes place in the wood. Dogs allowed on a leash only.
