Pension - Restaurant Koliba Likava

Very nice staff, delicious food, cosy atmosphere, we most heartily recommend to have a meal at the place.

The place was great. Lovely little restaurant, friendly waiter, lots of great variety of Slovak traditional food. I got the venison ghoulash and pierogies. They were awesome. Strudel was good too. Be warned: the poppyseed dessert has a mountain of poppyseeds on it. Ok, maybe not a mountain, but definitely a mole hill.

Very nice place for having a meal. We were near in other koliba but it was so overcrowded that one had to wait in a queue to get there. This koliba is cozy, they prepare tasty meal and the personnel is kind. You can sit outside on a terrace. There is also big parking lot and a garden - playground for children.

The staff has shown tremendous hospitality after our car broke down on our road trip. I’m so glad it happened right here because at least there was a room available, they had a restaurant, but most importantly a gentleman by the name of Slavo who spoke English and was willing to help us. Not only did he make the necessary calls for us, but he left us with a phone after his shift was over and called in to check on us. They really took the weight of worry off our shoulders and we got to enjoy our surroundings. It is absolutely gorgeous here. The land is breathtaking, the pension is beautiful, the food is great, and so is the WiFi. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice place by the road from Ruzomberok. Big choice of Slovak cuisine specialties, I picked brynza dumplings and wasn't disappointed. Very tasty, served with sour cream and bacon, quite a big serving. Certainly will drop in again.

Traditional Slovak Koliba with tasty fresh traditional Slovak dishes as you would expect. Friendly service with English speaking staff and convenient parking outside. Well worth a visit.

Godd food and friendly staff. We ordered halusky s klobasou, bryndzova polievka and mushroom risotto. Portions are plentiful.

There's a kids play area at the back with a view of the Likava castle.

One of the best kapustnicas in Koliba I ever had. Super tender deer meat! Excellent!
